Couple walking in Pena palace gardens in Sintra, Portugal. It was a very misty day but there were some hopeful glimpses of sun...

Getting a few games in.

Why worry?

There should be laughter after pain,

There should be sunshine after rain,

These things have always been the same.

So why worry now?

I am trying to push a bit beyond my comfort zone and start to try a hand at different types of photography. So please bear with me, I have a lot to learn to develop an eye for B&W photography. It is so different and it is true when sources state when we see in color that it is an entirely different way of 'seeing' to do B&W photography.

I really love the shadows from the trees and the mysterious looking tunnel appearance at the end of the path which made me think, Big Foot must live down there. LOL I hope I got this right but if anyone has suggestions if this might be a 'miss' I would love to hear them :)

Thanks so much for the comments and the favs!!

My hands got really ashy today. Before I applied some cocoa butter to them, I started thinking about how important our hands are to us.

They allow us to eat, allow us to drive, and they allow us to physically touch, caress, and show affection to things. I think I take my hands (and feet) for granted. If I had no hands, it would be hard for me to even communicate this message that I am typing right....now.

I guess I'll have to start taking better care of them.

From afar you could hear thunderstorms thundering and secretly I would have been very happy about a flash in this beautiful light mood, at the latest then I would have set up my tripod. Hand held panorama.

Right now, a storm is coming up here in the Eifel, so I have to leave soon. See you later.

The white-handed gibbon (here a male) belongs to the primate family and is listed as critically endangered species. This gibbon was the third primate species i was able to see during my short visit to Kaeng Krachan NP, Thailand
