On the northern tip of Cheticamp Island, Enragee Point Lighthouse. One of my wifes uncles had been one of the three keepers "back in the day". The lighthouse is now fully automated.

There's something truly magical about a lighthouse at work after dark. This shot captures that steady, reassuring beam cutting through the night, with the long exposure turning the clouds into these incredible, wispy streaks across the sky. The city lights and that bridge in the distance just add to the whole atmosphere. It's a reminder of how these silent sentinels keep watch.
