Tell everybody i'm on my way
New friends and new places to see
With blue skies ahead, yes i'm on my way
And theres no where else i'd rather be
Tell everybody i'm on my way
And i'm loving every step i take
With the sun beating down, yes i'm on my way
And i can't keep this smile off my face
Cause theres nothing like, seeing each other again
No matter what the distance between
And the stories we tell, will make you smile
Or really lifts my heart~

[ CPP Project example 10.04 ]
This image is part of my experimental CPP double exposure photo project. I tentatively dubbed it "Guide To Beauty" from the book visible in the lower left-hand corner of the picture. While driving on a remote stretch of road in the rural area where I currently live, I found a mound of books that someone had dumped and grabbed a couple of shots for the CPP project. The photo here is from a couple of rolls of 35mm film that I sent off to the very talented Ms. LaDonna Chaos (I grabbed my shots on 2.23.02 -- the cheap camera I used had a date stamp, although I can't see the date here, probably because I cropped the shot a bit).
It's a bit of an eccentric project, and it takes a kind and creative soul to play along. LaDonna sent the rolls back to me this summer, & this is the first of the images that anyone has seen. I quickly touched it up in Photoshop a few minutes ago.
Thanks to Ms. Chaos for participating! And thanks to my local Wal-Mart for misplacing my photo order for 2 months! ;)

OH, and thank you for stopping by. :)
Sometimes we are a bit lost, feeling empty. We may not know which paths to take and what is our destination. On those moments we need our guiding light like ships used to need lighthouses to stay on a course. From time to time this light may be dim and we really have to search for it. But eventually, the light will get brighter, allowing us to follow the light. To follow our passion.
On this capture, me and my friend made some light painting around this lighthouse, making it shine a little bit brighter.
This lighthouse was captured in Reposaari, Pori, Finland.
Thank you.

Taken about 1983, when Portland was used by the Royal Navy and Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) for Operational Sea Training (now carried out from Devonport, Pymouth). I took this when serving with the Royal Naval Auxiliary Service (RNXS). Scanned from an original film-based print.

Guided here by Ryan Wunsch, renowned prairie photographer, this is the most remarkable homestead I've visited. Gorgeous architecture with ornate turret and fine condition, it's not spoiled. It seems to have aged gracefully. A friend remarked it reminded them of the house in the animated movie "UP".

日出之前~
七星潭的天空佈滿著厚厚的雲,海面上則是一顆在浮標上的顯眼紅燈。本以為這樣的天空會燒起來的,結果沒想到風采還遠不如海面上的那一趴紅燈~ ^^"
