The giraffes are wonderful and interesting to watch .Quite often when either they were at the waterhole or eating in a group you would find one standing guard. They never know for sure if it is safe so there is always one keeping an eye and ear open for danger.
A small herd of cows surrounded this abandoned house. As I set up for my shot, most of the cows hid behind the house, with the most curious one remaining behind to keep tabs on my behavior.
Early morning in the Sarntaler Alps near Mount Jakobspitze. Some "Steinmanderl" keep guard - or maybe they just watch the sunrise... who knows ;)
I'm sure many of you have heard a big storm hit the Northeast United States again. Here's some of Chinatown in the snow! Under the Manhattan Bridge
Or just hanging out and having a cup of coffee :-) I don't think there are many threats in Lynn's Lego City so the knights at the castle are quite relaxed :-)
Probably the biggest thing they have to worry about is a Texas sized spider or scorpion wandering in but I think they could take care of that problem easily :-)
I'll be away for a few days, but back soon!
Thanks to all my flickr friends for taking the time to visit, comment and fave - I appreciate it!
Each corner of the castle's ground has a structure similar to this. I would think that they served as quarters for the guards who protect the castle and its dwellers from intruders. Let me call it a guardhouse and each guardhouse has the semblance of the castle. Funny but I admit, I did not bother to reseach who lived there. I can only guess that it was the Imperial family.. hehe

Another batch of figures for the Last Jedi! The Praetorian Guards are the mysterious new warriors we see that directly serve Supreme Leader Snoke. I'm very intrigued by these guys, so I hope you enjoy this quick "figbarf," I guess you could say, that I did while making my Knights of Ren yesterday.
Haven't seen anyone else do these guys yet...so I wanted to get them uploaded! Sorry for not including a more exciting scene.
Check out the album.
May the Force be with you, always.

Through the creations that I build, I hope to inspire other young (or perhaps older) builders to unleash their inner creativity. We all need a positive way to express ourselves, so let's allow LEGO® to be that extension. Your imagination belongs to you, and nobody can take that away. Creativity never ends!

robin ~ erithacus rubecula
RSPB Green status list.
This robin was a bit too close really but the light and his pose was great so I thought it worth a shot. While I was in the garden he had been seeing off a couple other robins. He then landed on the shrub in front of me acting as if he was guarding his patch.
