Is there not a striking resemblance between Scott and Grumpy Cat?

Painter Lenore Corey makes deeply personal works that evoke personal diary entries and private thoughts. How fitting that she is the one artist of our group to imagine the emotional inner monologue of Tardar Sauce.

Jeannie Vereen had no clue who Grumpy Cat was before creating her artwork, but as she entered the long process of patiently hand-hooking a small rug in honor of the cat she naturally became curious. The labor of love made her fall for the animal and before long she knew everything about Tardar Sauce, looking far deeper than the critter’s superficial status as an online meme. That level of care shows in every stich of Jeannie’s work!

Mabel is 6 years old and she is the boss of the house. She is very sassy and likes to pick on all of her siblings even though she is the smallest. She likes to wear this monster costume when she needs to feel humbled.
