saw these grocery karts at a busy road in manila that seems to move by itself. But upon closer inspection they were being pushed by grocery attendants to deliver the purchased items. cool illusion!
It's interesting what I've seen in this parking lot for a local shopping complex. This is an 8th Generation Corvette (C8). Though not designed necessarily to perform grocery shopping it certainly can be pressed into that service to a certain degree.
Ghost sign for a grocery store at the corner of Farrington and Johnston Streets in Newburgh, New York.
Found this parked at the local grocery store. Sadly I didn't get to meet the person who brought it there.
This MOC was inspired by the little menagerie of kids entertainment that could always be found in the entrances to grocery stores when I was younger, specifically focused on the little coin operated rides and the gumball machines. This was built for the New Elementary Lantern contest, and the lantern is used as both the core of the gumball machine and the center for the whale ride, which hinges on the handle of the lantern.

I posted the shot I took after this one the other day with him holding the group of worms with a guilty look on his face. Now I am thinking maybe I like this one better. Look closely and you can see he has a worm in the back of his mouth that he just nabbed. I guess he decided to gorge himself before reaching the checkout line.
An old grocery store along the roadside in Skagit Valley near Mt. Vernon, WA. I suspect that old photos of this place would look almost identical except for the gas prices and the sign advertising their Yelp reviews. www.kwphotos.com

With these three key ingredients, they can call it breakfast cereal, candy, cheese food, bread, salisbuty steak TV dinner, or cookies.
Early this year after many years of planning we finally moved from the Denver suburbs to our new home in a remote area high up in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. This shot was taken on the return trip from the grocery store.

Foreign tourists to America, particularly when visiting outside of the U.S. Northeast and the Greater New York City region, find it odd and inconvenient that there is often no grocery shop and no market in the city centre. Pittsburgh is no exception -- other than this very small and very expensive "grocery" shop, you cannot find shops that sell fresh produce, meat or fruits anywhere in the city center.
