It was the day of the Boston Marathon and they wanted to keep Boylston clear for the runners. So, of course, they brought out the Green Machines.

They made their own Rohloff twist shifter for the unter seat bars. This has always been a problem with unusual bars and would probably be quite handy for drop bars as well.

We had our second snow event of the season this week, and my yard in Cumming received 2 inches. Although we had more snow during the December storm, the temperature was much colder this time, with single-digit wind chill. Here are some photos from around my yard.

After almost 14 years and 227,000 miles, I finally traded in my 2004 Honda Element and purchased a 2015 Kia Soul Exclaim. Although I've had it for only 30 hours, I'm enjoying it and hope it lasts as long as the Honda.
