A pair of strangers, liberal high-school teacher Ralph Hinkley and right-wing FBI agent Bill Maxwell, have a close encounter in the Southern California desert one night with "little green men", who give our heroes a red superhero suit. The suit works only for Ralph, and the two, accompanied by Ralph's cute lawyer girlfriend Pam, reluctantly team up to battle criminals. Problems ensue when Ralph loses the suit's instruction book, so he had to master the suit's powers on his own.

Taken the night before i left Oregon.

Before you read this long story of mine, ill start off with a quick description so you can decide if you want to further read my Greatest Adventure.

Many of my contacts know that i was out in Portland, Oregon for almost seven weeks and that i have the intention of moving out there in the Spring or early Summer of this coming year. My original plan was to have saved enough money to make a two week drive out there stopping at various locations for shooting as well as for first/last and security for a apartment in Portland.

Well i have decided to change that plan, and pursue something much larger that i hope i can accomplish.

So here is My Greatest Journey

At the current time i do not have a job and my income level from Photography is rather low, and the reason for that is because i am one extremely lazy person who thinks everything will just fall into my lap. I complain on a daily basis that i need new equipment and that i need this and that. I tend to blame the world for the fact that i dont have any photography jobs coming in, but yet when jobs do pop open for me i tend to pass them by as i dont want to work for something i feel is less than what i deserve. So i am the reason my dream is slowly fading and being delayed.

So its time for a change, i need to take the small income i am making and put it towards my photography career, such as business cards and a website as well as the obvious networking myself. So my plan from now is to not turn down the photo opportunities that get dropped in my lap even if the pay is extremely low because that job will lead me to something bigger and better.

I have been asked on a few occasions to shoot weddings and i always seem to pass them on to someone else, for what my excuse is my equipment, well i could simply rent the lenses for the weekend and then be all set. So that brings me to a funny message i received tonight via myspace from a local up and coming photographer. He asked me if i would be interested in shooting a friend of his mothers wedding, and before i decided to type NOOO WAYY BROOO i decided to ask for more details on the shoot and i am still waiting for the response back. So i think i will take this job, i will rent the lenses needed and i will do a great job with it. This will open the doors to more work for me, work that will fund my trip.

Okay so now back to the plan for this great adventure of mine. So while out in Oregon i realized everyone has a dog so i thought thats what i need for my trip, as i will be moving to a place where the only person i know is my dad besides my awesome flickr contacts from the area. So i decided a dog would be a awesome companion and start to my new life, so for the past month i have started my search for the perfect dog. Well every time i feel i get close something comes up and i am searching again, but at the current time i do have a great feeling that i will find this amazing new friend of mine very soon.

Oh i forgot to mention at the current time i no longer have a vehicle. I got rid of my car like two years ago and got big into motorcycles and ended up having that for almost two years until college and certain reasons i just needed to get rid of it and i started realizing i would probably die soon or later. So there is another fund i will be needing to save for and probably the biggest, my plan is for a smaller truck which i will put a topper on, so i can put a small bed in the back and just sleep in there with my lovely canine friend on our journey out west.

Okay so most of that was the original plan, now here is where my idea changes. Not saying this will happen but this is my goal. My plan for taking two or so weeks to get out to Oregon will become over a Month long trip, and i wont be getting a apartment in Oregon once i am there, but i will travel the State and shoot various locations. So basically the money that was going to be saved for living will be saved for living in a tent and for gas. Now once out in Oregon who knows, if i have enough good pictures that i felt could sell i could set a booth up at the Saturday Market and earn a small income to pay for further traveling.

So if my funding could work with it, i would be living out of the truck and a tent with my Canine friend all throughout the summer and into the fall. I would use my father's address in Portland for mail and what not, i would still be setting up photoshoots and possibly weddings to make even more money to fund the next part of the adventure.

This would be were the fun starts. So this probably just sounds like a dream, but you can do anything you put your mind to right? Towards the end of fall i would travel south out of Oregon into California, i would stay in Northern California and head to Lake Tahoo. From there i would head east through Nevada where i would shoot the amazing landscape that is there for a few days. I would continue east until i got to Wyoming which would be my final destination for a Northern state, i would spend a couple of weeks in the Grand Tetons area which would be around the end of fall, giving me just enough good colors left to create some fantastic work.

After my trip to the Tetons i would head south and probably as fast as possible to avoid blizzards and bad driving conditions. I would place myself somewhere in Arizona and New Mexico for several weeks, i would then travel through the southern states hitting several landscape landmarks that i wish to shoot. After that i would make my way back to Florida with my canine friend roughly in time for Christmas or slightly afterwards, i would hang out in the state for a few months before making my final trek back to Oregon where i would make my final stop, in Portland Oregon. Obviously having traveled to other amazing and different locations on my second drive back up to Oregon. A Photographers Dream.

So thats my goal/dream and i really will do anything to accomplish it, i am tired of being lazy. I am still very young and i might as well take advantage of that. I will meet many great people and see many amazing things. I will also be beyond broke at the end, but we only live once.

This is my Plan. Whether it be this spring or the following. I will make sure i live this plan.

I also would like to thank all of the people who continue to comment my work, i love having friends like you guys.

There are two people i would really like to thank and even though they didnt really do much they opened my mind to many things in a way. So i would like to thank Darren White www.flickr.com/photos/drwhite75/ & Miles Morgan www.flickr.com/photos/mm767cap/ for posting there amazing work that i happened to stumble across when searching Oregon on Flickr. Some of there photos were the reason i got my ass on a plane and went out there. So Thank you

And to the other amazing Oregon Photographer's as well as all other great landscape photographer's , you guys are forever my idols.

The greatest dawn is after the darkness night.

All you need is to look into your soul and then you'll find me in the deepest hole.

Not the greatest but, equally not the worst sunset i've seen from the top of Helsby Hill. The slight winds we've been having over the past few days have not been the best conditions, blank skies and mist in the air don't make a great combination for sunset photography! But the slight glow in the sky and the stillness in the air was quite a unique experience. i've been up here a lot and its normally quite windy!

The image shows part of a concrete platform that was placed recently to illustrate the ground level and the "playground". Below it, are the corners and blocks, where beasts are kept, and gladiators come out.

Through these portals walk past the emperors of Rome, the tough gladiators, the slaves who built it, the dungeons, and of Christians doomed to be fed to the lions, of beasts from Africa, and executions, and dramas. And they all happened almost 2,000 years ago.

Back in June 2003, the Manchester entertainment magazine City Life ran a feature asking people to vote for "Manchester's greatest ever frontman". Readers were asked to choose their favourite candidate from the above list of ten (cough) "Mancunians".

Classifying Richard Ashcroft as "Mancunian" is pushing the definition of "Manchester" a bit, but technically Ashcroft's hometown of Wigan is part of "Greater Manchester"...

See the text of issue 489 of City Life for details and also Mark E Smith is reader's greatest Mancunian

This ancient, polished dark stone font, with its unique carvings of the miracles of St Nicholas, the kindly children’s saint, is one of the Cathedral’s greatest treasures. It was brought from Tournai, in modern Belgium, in the 12th century, and has been in constant use ever since. You can find it on the north side of the nave.

This massive, ancient font, carved from a single block weighing about 1.5 tonnes, dates from about 1150. Its upper, ‘marble’ section sits on a stone base with four corner pillars. However, it’s not real marble, a term once used for any stone that took a polish. It’s in fact made of carboniferous limestone quarried in Tournai, in modern Belgium, and was probably shipped to England in separate pieces.

It is the finest of just 10 fonts of this type in England today, including three others in Hampshire. This font is lavishly decorated with unique carvings of the miracles of St Nicholas, alongside images of symbolic animals such as lions and birds.

It was brought from Tournai. It’s said to have been the gift of Henry of Blois, the French-speaking grandson of William the Conqueror and Bishop of Winchester during the 12th century.

Who was St Nicholas?

We know that he was Bishop of Myra in modern Turkey in the 4th century, and his remains are housed in a shrine in Bari, Italy. But many legends and stories cluster around these bare facts.

He is strongly associated with acts of kindness, especially to children – lending his name to the jolly Santa Claus who brings Christmas gifts down the chimney today.

The font’s carvings work a bit like a modern cartoon strip. Several different stories are depicted, but you can always spot St Nicholas by his bishop’s mitre and crozier, a stylised shepherd’s crook symbolising his care for his flock.

One shows the saint miraculously bringing three apprentices back to life after their murder by a wicked innkeeper. In another, he saves lives at sea. The panel features the earliest known picture of a ship with a high prow and fixed stern rudder.

A third shows him with the three grateful daughters of an impoverished nobleman. He had saved them from a life on the street by secretly throwing three bags of gold into their home. These led to the symbol of three gold ‘balls’ still used by pawnbrokers today.

"The greatest romance one can find is to fall in love with God.

The greatest journey one could embark on is to seek Him.

The greatest achievement one can obtain is to find Him."

-St. Augustine

Edward of Woodstock, known to history as the Black Prince (15 June 1330 – 8 June 1376) was the eldest son of King Edward III of England, and the heir to the English throne. He died before his father and so his son, Richard II, succeeded to the throne instead. Edward nevertheless earned distinction as one of the most successful English commanders during the Hundred Years' War, being regarded by his English contemporaries as a model of chivalry and one of the greatest knights of his age. He is on the other hand remembered in France for his well documented brutality and the massacres he ordered.

Edward was made Duke of Cornwall, the first English dukedom, in 1337. He was guardian of the kingdom in his father's absence in 1338, 1340, and 1342. He was created Prince of Wales in 1343 and knighted by his father at La Hogne in 1346.

In 1346 Prince Edward commanded the vanguard at the Battle of Crécy, his father intentionally leaving him to win the battle. He took part in Edward III's 1349 Calais expedition. In 1355 he was appointed the king's lieutenant in Gascony, and ordered to lead an army into Aquitaine on a chevauchée, during which he pillaged Avignonet and Castelnaudary, sacked Carcassonne, and plundered Narbonne. The next year (1356) on another chevauchée he ravaged Auvergne, Limousin, and Berry but failed to take Bourges. He offered terms of peace to King John II of France, who had outflanked him near Poitiers, but refused to surrender himself as the price of their acceptance. This led to the Battle of Poitiers, where his army routed the French and took King John prisoner. The year after Poitiers, Edward returned to England. In 1360 he negotiated the treaty of Bretigny. He was created Prince of Aquitaine and Gascony in 1362, but his suzerainty was not recognised by the lord of Albret or other Gascon nobles. He was directed by his father to forbid the marauding raids of the English and Gascon free companies in 1364. He entered into an agreement with Don Pedro of Castile and Charles II of Navarre, by which Pedro covenanted to mortgage Castro de Urdiales and the province of Biscay to him as security for a loan; in 1366 a passage was secured through Navarre. In 1367 he received a letter of defiance from Henry of Trastámara, Don Pedro's half-brother and rival. The same year, after an obstinate conflict, he defeated Henry at the Battle of Nájera. However, after a wait of several months, during which he failed to obtain either the province of Biscay or liquidation of the debt from Don Pedro, he returned to Aquitaine. Prince Edward persuaded the estates of Aquitaine to allow him a hearth tax of ten sous for five years in 1368, thereby alienating the lord of Albret and other nobles. Drawn into open war with Charles V of France in 1369, he took Limoges, where in 1370 he gave orders for an indiscriminate massacre in revenge for the voluntary surrender of that town to the French by its bishop, who had been his private friend.

Prince Edward returned to England in 1371 and the next year resigned the principality of Aquitaine and Gascony. He led the commons in their attack upon the Lancastrian administration in 1376. He died in 1376 of dysentery[b] and was buried in Canterbury Cathedral, where his surcoat, helmet, shield, and gauntlets are still preserved. Edward, the eldest son of Edward III and Queen Philippa, was born at Woodstock on 15 June 1330. His father on 10 September allowed five hundred marks a year from the profits of the county of Chester for his maintenance; and on 25 February 1331, the whole of these profits were assigned to the queen for maintaining him and the king's sister Eleanor.[4] In July of that year the king proposed to marry him to a daughter of Philip VI of France.[5]

On 18 March 1333, Edward was invested with the earldom and county of Chester, and in the parliament of 9 February 1337 he was created Duke of Cornwall and received the duchy by charter dated 17 March. This is the earliest instance of the creation of a duke in England. By the terms of the charter the duchy was to be held by him and the eldest sons of kings of England.[6] His tutor was Dr. Walter Burley of Merton College, Oxford. His revenues were placed at the disposal of his mother in March 1334 for the expenses she incurred in bringing up him and his two sisters, Isabella and Joan.[7] Rumours of an impending French invasion led the king in August 1335 to order that he and his household should remove to Nottingham Castle as a place of safety.[8]

When two cardinals came to England at the end of 1337 to make peace between Edward III and Philip VI, the Duke of Cornwall is said to have met the cardinals outside the City of London, and in company with many nobles to have conducted them to the King Edward.[9] On 11 July 1338 his father, who was on the point of leaving England for Flanders, appointed him guardian of the kingdom during his absence, and he was appointed to the same office on 27 May 1340 and 6 October 1342;[10] he was of course too young to take any save a nominal part in the administration, which was carried on by the council. In order to attach John, Duke of Brabant, to his cause, the king in 1339 proposed a marriage between the young Duke of Cornwall and John's daughter Margaret, and in the spring of 1345 wrote urgently to Pope Clement VI for a dispensation for this marriage. His death took place in the Palace of Westminster.[97][h] He was buried with great state in Canterbury Cathedral on 29 September, and the directions contained in his will were followed at his funeral and in the details of his tomb.[98] It has a bronze effigy beneath a tester depicting the Holy Trinity with his heraldic achievements – his surcoat, helmet, shield and gauntlets[98] – hung over the tester; they have been replaced with replicas, and the originals now reside in a glass-fronted cabinet within the Cathedral.

She was a beauty--a gold 45 goddess for sure! A Gold 45 Goddess exalts the archetypal form of Athena--the Greek Goddess of wisdom, warfare, strategy, heroic endeavour, handicrafts and reason. A Gold 45 Goddess guards the beauty of dx4/dt=ic and embodies 45SURF's motto "Virtus, Honoris, et Actio Pro Veritas, Amor, et Bellus, (Strength, Honor, and Action for Truth, Love, and Beauty," and she stands ready to inspire and guide you along your epic, heroic odyssey into art and mythology. It is Athena who descends to call Telemachus to Adventure in the first book of Homer's Odyssey--to man up, find news of his true father Odysseus, and rid his home of the false suitors, and too, it is Athena who descends in the first book of Homer's Iliad, to calm the Rage of Achilles who is about to draw his sword so as to slay his commander who just seized Achilles' prize, thusly robbing Achilles of his Honor--the higher prize Achilles fought for. And now Athena descends once again, assuming the form of a Gold 45 Goddess, to inspire you along your epic odyssey of heroic endeavour.

Ergo dx4/dt=ic--the foundational equation of all time and motion which is on all the shirts and swimsuits. And now Athena descends once again, assuming the form of a Gold 45 Goddess, to inspire you along your epic journey of heroic endeavour.
