I KNOW, I am slightly obessive about taking wave shots, but, even if I say so myself, the ones I took down at Ballycastle the other day really were crackers.

So I am indulging myself by putting another one up.

My hooley dooley wave is my fave shot, but this is a close contender. I just loved the way the light sliced across it, highlighting all the colours in the wave from the icy, icy blue greens to the golden hues where the wave picks up the sand.

Yes, I am waxing lyrical!!!

Ohhhhh how I wished I could have got to BallyCastle yesterday.

We had a major, major storm that ran for two days and I have been in typhoons in Hong Kong where the wind wasn't half as strong as what I experienced yesterday.

It was far too dangerous though as the wind was making my little mini swerve all over the place, so I had to contend with going down to Downhill beach.

Bit disappointed as I have seen bigger waves on non windy days!!! And to cap it off, walking back to the car which took forever, I was facing the wind and got sand blasted!

Did have the beach to myself though!!!

The Forth Bridge is a cantilever railway bridge over the Firth of Forth in the east of Scotland, 9 miles (14 kilometres) west of Edinburgh City Centre and was inaugurated in 1890. It is considered an iconic structure and a symbol of Scotland, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Hey friends. I hate to sound melodramatic, but it's time for me to change some things. Flickr has started to take up way too much of my time. I spent hours yesterday just trying to catch up with contacts and people who've commented on my stream. I just can't do it all anymore. I've got too much going on right now to spend that much time on flickr.

I love flickr and the community, and I'm not planning on stopping my use of the site. But I am going to have to cut way back.

I'm no longer going to be able to reply to every comment and respond to every new contact notification. I've culled my list of contacts way down.

My sincere apologies to anyone who might be offended or upset by these changes. I've done my very best to be a good community member, but I just don't have the time to operate the way I used to. I hope you'll understand.

Thank you all for your feedback and your friendship. I can't tell you how much I value each of you for the support you've offered.

As the name says, the picture above is the National History Museum in London. This shot is a kind of a cliche shot for photographers in London. I had to get one myself! What i like about museums in London are their entrance fees. Most popular and important museums in London do not charge for entrance fee. The Natural History Museum is one of them and it is also one of the main museums to visit in London.

In this hall lies the Diplodocus skeleton. Only the tail could be seen in this shot (center lower part)

A trip over to Portsmouth in spring 2019. Seen here is HMS Warrior. Warrior and her sister ship HMS Black Prince were the first ocean-going armour plated iron hulled warships in the world. They were built in response to France launching the first ocean-going ironclad warship, the wooden-hulled Gloire. These photos were taken with my Canon Camera on a beautiful day in Pompey

Bay near Tintagel. Tintagel is a wonderful village and it's famous for the ancient legend that King Arthur was born in an old castle on the cliffs, of which you can only find some remains of the walls today.
