Edvard Munch (1863–1944) was one of the most famous Expressionist Norwegian painters. His style, known as symbolism, which mainly focused on life, love, anxiety, and loneliness played a significant role in the late 20th-century art, especially in German expressionism. The dark color and somber tones, the exaggerated forms, and the contrasting lines in his designs portrayed his psychological state. His most iconic artwork, The Scream (1893), which depicts the agonized face and radical expressions, symbolizes anxiety, one of human's most common psychological conditions. We have digitally enhanced some of his notable works from the public domain and made them available for you to download under the creative commons 0 license.

It seems that we also have to work for a clean world during the dishes. And this is apparently made possible by 'powered plants' of Seventh Generation. This new to the world product is promoted by Combino 2100 on line 14 on its way to Centraal Station entering Rembrandtplein here.
This Combino with number 2100 has been delivered to the GVB on 04/09/2003 and the first passengers boarded on 24/09/2003 on line 3.

It is the end of the day, the sun is setting again. It's been a cold day, so I'll send you some cosy warm night lights.
Enjoy the evening.

Okay, here is what I did here. These are actually four separate photographs depicting "The Four Seasons" - 1907, by The Rookwood Pottery Company and John D. Wareham.
These murals were commissioned for the Grand Cafe of the Hotel Sinton at Fourth and Vine Street, Cincinnati. When the hotel opened on February 25, 1907, it was ranked among the world's finest hotels, and the Grand Cafe was noted as its most striking feature. The spacious cafe was graced with four great corner piers, each holding one of these Rookwood murals.
The Rookwood murals, representing spring, summer, autumn and winter were designed and executed under the direction of John Dee Wareham. In the lower third of each mural a sign of the zodiac represents the season depicted. The ram (Aries) signifies Spring, the lion (Leo) symbolizes summer, the scales (Libra) designate autumn, and the goat (Capricorn) indicates winter.
Yeah, I so got these out of order didn't I. I guess it would have helped if I had read this first HUH????? Oh well, you get my jest!

Well, yes, the plane did take off.
That plane... yes, well, it wasn’t in the air long.
And yes, Rick and Captain Renault were indeed friends.
But, again, not for so long. See, I had a job to do.
We all did.
The war was on, you know. We all had a terrible notion of duty.
I was the ghost in the machine. The burr under the saddle, if you will.
We all had to do our part.
Truth be told, all these years later…I was working with Major Strasser.
Well, *mor*e than working with Heiny, if you will.
I’m a lady, so I’ll demure. I was sad to see him shot.
But we all had a job to do.
The Resistance had to be taken down.
I was young enough then to have the courage to do so.
And naive enough not to know better.
Back then, we all knew how to set an explosive charge.
It was like tying our shoes.
My job was to take out Victor Laszlo.
Rick did me a favor. He got them on that plane. That’s what I had hoped he’d do.
Proud? No, I wouldn’t say that. But at the time, it was my job.
After, it was lovely being alone with Rick.
I hated Ilsa for showing up, but in the end, it worked out for us.
Of course, Rick, poor man, too, had to be excised.
The poison on my hatpin did that work.
Such was the time back then.
I still think about it sometimes.
Doing what had to be done. Our duty…
A kiss is but a kiss indeed.

A little back story to this one. I shot this in February when I was in South Africa. I was having lunch a restaurant in Camps Bay on Victoria Road called Grand Cafe. The beach was across the street and a nice breeze while blowing. I was sitting outside, under a canopy and my back was against the building. This woman was sitting above me, basically. She was inside but at a window seat and the shutters were open. I couldn't see who she was lunching with, so seeing her sitting there with a rose on the table and two glasses like this, it was like she was remembering. And I started to think what if there was more to the Casablanca story...
This was my take on what that story could be.
