National Zoological Park - Washington, D.C.
Also known as Blue Iguana. When this huge iguana is resting, it's colour is blue-gray. But when it becomes excited, the front half of his body turns turquoise-blue, giving it the nickname "blue iguana".

Alot of work went into creating this one, too many steps to remember :-) I wanted to change the boring sky, but then realized that there were no clouds in the reflection...:-) I liked the end result...

Le Grand Tétras (Tetrao urogallus), ou Grand coq de bruyère, est un gros gallinacé vivant dans les forêts de conifères ou mixte sous climat froid : les forêts boréales et sub-boréales de plaine en Europe du Nord et de l'Est et dans une partie importante de la Sibérie, et les forêts de montagne en Europe moyenne et méridionale.

This was day three of a whirlwind trip to Flagstaff. We set out to be at the Desert View Tower at sunset, but it was too dark when we got there. This was shot just before we set out for the tower, you can see the clouds starting to pink up. We probably should have parked it here and waited. This is the South RIm near the El Tovar Hotel. Hard to keep people out of the image, the place was packed! This image is a Panorama made of several images.
