Graduates, family, and friends celebrated fall 2017 commencement exercises on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017. About 270 students will earned bachelor’s degrees and certificates at the UH West Oʻahu Lower Courtyard. Master navigator Kaʻiulani Murphy gave the keynote address. Chancellor Maenette K.P. Ah Nee-Benham will presided over the ceremony. Terina Faagau, spoke on behalf of the graduating class. Rashad Hicks, served as student emcee at the ceremony.

On Tuesday, May 6th, the Educational Opportunity Programs hosted a reception to recognize the accomplishments of graduating EOP Seniors. This year, the program will be anticipating the graduation of more than 600 EOP students.
At the event students received a complimentary EOP Sash, a token of appreciation from the program to publicly acknowledge their hard work. Students also had the opportunity to reconnect with members of the EOP Community.

On Thursday, April 4th, graduate students from across the graduate studies programs took to the lanes at Upper Valley Lanes and Games for a "Big Lebowski" themed bowling night.
