Week 39: T is for Toning with the Gradient Map

Shibui Knits' (free) pattern and their Silk Cloud yarn. I love both.The yarn is knit with 3 strands held together and it makes the warmest, softest fabric while still being light and comfortable.

An adventure in dyeing yarn so that it knits into a gradient!

Found out i might be going on holiday to egypt, so i got excited and illustrated a desert... we've all done that right?...

decided to see what it would be like if every object on the in the image had the same gradient style. quite liked the result. may only work with deserts.
