The little Ilse valley is one of the gems of the Wittgenstein country. A wonderful small and narrow valley in which the fresh may green of meadows and trees is radiating. A small paved, albeit being in bad shape, road leads up from Feudingen to the Heiligenborn and then Eisenstraße. All the while the small brook of the Ilse is purling along.

Für mich ist das Ilsetal das Kleinod des Wittgensteiner Lands. Ein wunderbares, kleines und schmales Tal, in dem natürlich gerade im Mai frisches Grün von Wiesen und Bäumen richtiggehend strahlt, ein kleines (leider in schlechtem Zustand befindliches) Sträßchen hindurch und Richtung Heiligenborn und Eisenstraße führt und im Talgrund die Ilse plätschert.

Gradient mix with different monochrome mix... or is it bichrome? Downtown scenes shot with Voigtlander Bessa T and testing cheap body cap fixed focus pancake lens 32mm f/10. Did I say cheap? Shot on Kentmere 100 at ISO 100 and stand developed in PA Rodinal for 60 minutes. Fixed for 5 minutes in Ilford Hypam rapid 1:4. Then rinsed and stuff. This lens is not bad when lit (properly) from behind or out of direct sunlight. Sunlight brings in flares and artifacts which are not necessarily unpleasing.
