The line drawings were created with a limited colored pencil palette that’s intentionally primitive with a loose reference to the google tool. You know, the internet search engine. Anyways, by listening to music and flowing with the vibe I’m creating these drawings and trying to reduce abstract ideas and feelings to simple forms. I aim to keep drawing in this method until I have a pile of them to sift through.

My first semester of graduate school at UGA, I was lucky enough to have a Teaching Practicum with Prof. Scott Belville. The students enrolled in the class were wonderful--initially we were both impressed with the skill level of these "beginning" painters. Collectively, they all proceeded to surpass expectations throughout the semester. These are some shots of them working on final projects.

Research interest:
My research interest includes theoretical and experimental research related to the field of water resource and environmental engineering with an emphasis on groundwater fate and transport, environmental implication of nanotechnology, groundwater contamination and quality control using advanced technologies. My interests also include simulation and modeling of salt-water intrusion and costal salinity, application of optimization in groundwater-surface water interaction and usage in multiple scales.

Congratulations to the Class of 2022! The University conferred 1,387 bachelor’s degrees, 328 master’s degrees, 36 doctoral degrees and two certificates. Graduates are from 55 Louisiana parishes, 36 states and U.S. territories, and 33 foreign countries.
The Graduate School has broken several records this semester. Its 365 total graduate degrees and certificates are the most in University history. Among that number are the highest number of master’s degrees ever awarded and the second-most doctoral degrees in school history.
