I've been using a combination of one of my Canon lens, with my second Fuji camera, the X-T2.
I've posted a few photos about the Fringer adapter I'm using on my blogsite. Automatic focusing (Back Button focusing) works well in daylight, but occasionally I've had to use manual focusing at night, which was tricky for fast moving subjects on the fairground rides. :-)

Signs, paintings, murals, graphic artwork, what ever you want to call it, is in abundance at Goose Fair. On stalls, rides, just about everywhere. I decided to take quite a few photos to capture the art (artists) and showcase their work.

Nottingham's Goose Fair has been cancelled this year due to Covid-19. It's the first time in it's 700 year history that this has happened. So Goosey is 'by the lions' in Old Market Square for the 'duration' - And a welcome sight he is too!

A couple of long-ish (0.75sec) exposures from Tuesday nights adventure at the Nottingham Gosse Fair. By the time these were taken, it was very busy so the decision to use a monopod instead of a tripod worked pretty well!

An alternative look at Nottingham's Goose Fair, 2023.
Another visit to Nottingham's Goose Fair. This time an alternative slant. Quite literally the 'nuts and bolts' that keep the rides and stalls going. Getting in close on the mechanics of the fair. I asked permission from the showmen and and women for permission, they had no hesitations whatsoever. Some were happy to chat, to explain procedure and other aspects of the fair.

I can't remember the game here but I like the way the colourful lights reflected off the front few bottles and the single ceramic bottle in the middle of the glass ones
These series of photos were taken 28 Sept 2023, the day before the official opening of the fair. People were busy making final adjustments to rides, checking electrics, stock of foods, drinks, gifts and so on.
