This is a bike and pedestrian only bridge spanning the Brisbane river. It connects the QUT Gardens Point campus with the Southbank. It is also a host to Merlo coffee stand, so you can get your dose of strong coffee to keep you going.
Bad picture of a decent flash. Ended up at a Goodwill in a fancy Seattle suburb, pumped on this find that was in the case next to your rich dead great aunt's anniversary ring.
a good day in the Dog World--that's any day when we see Vickie at the Goodwill Drop Off. The gas station guy gets threatened with dismemberment when he gets near the truck, but Vickie gets only kisses. She remembers their names, gives them doggie biscuits (when she has them, otherwise I have to dissuade her from breaking off pieces of her lunch).
We make frequent visits to the Goodwill. Valuable items show up at the moorage dumpster, and even if I can't find a home for it--it's not right that these things end up in the landfill. So I'm at Goodwill sometimes twice a week.
You might say that Vicki's in our "karass", (described by Kurt Vonnegut as a group of people who, often unknowingly, are working together to do God's will.) The people can be thought of as fingers in a "Cat's Cradle," the name of the novel.
Your family is linked by blood, genetics. Your friends are your social circle, linked by work, group, favors, events. But your karass is filled with those people whose path you cross all the time, you appreciate, you know the roles and make it through the world in cooperation, day to day. Not strangers, but you may not even know their names, in fact, you probably don't. You don't get together for dinner or parties, but you always make eye contact, share a smile and a nod, and help each other get through another day on the planet.

Not gonna lie, bougjt the carry case simply for the doll stand. Not sure what to do with the case in general--it's in pretty sorry shape.

Found some random Lego lying on the floor and toy/game shelves today at the same Goodwill I found the last Lego. The worker priced it 50 cents : D . You probably can't see clearly but there are two printed bricks, a stickered brick, and and a few gold bricks. There was also a Chima set for $19.99 but I didn't buy it : (
I couldn't resist making a photo of this enormous haul of bionicle, roboriders, and slizer. Most look complete. I'll post more photos later.

My eyes popped out of the sockets when I saw this case at my local Goodwill...$4.00 with all the dolls you see and the 2 heads plus some pieces of various fashions. The dolls were really dirty but as you can see they cleaned up pretty nice!! no shoes or jewelry...but I will find something for them to wear.
Since I had such good luck with the 'faraway' Goodwill, I decided to pop into to my regular/close Goodwill. I didn't really expect to find anything because I had been so lucky, but.
Have never had the lifestyle requiring shoes like these but found these almost irresistible. Especially the Steve Madden pair 3rd from the left in sequined black lace. Gorgeous. Dec. 2018.

This location opened in 2013; it was originally an A&P, which was built and opened in 1971. It became a Super Fresh in April 1987, which closed in the late 1990s, and a Rec Warehouse in the early 2000s.
Ceiling Scars remain where walls used to be with the Little Caesars PIzza Station along with the floor and brown scars on the floor where walls used to be.

This location opened in June 2007 and relocated here in June 2013; it was originally part of a Drug Emporium, which opened on January 29th, 1986 and closed on July 31st, 2000. It became a Rugged Wearhouse on May 17th, 2001, Comfort Zone Restaurant & Lounge on February 13th, 2017, and Access 2.0 in fall 2021.
