Me and Createdvoid decided on a spur of the moment decision to go here and abseil off the tall objects that can be found in a quarry. What fun we had doing this.
This is taken from the conveyor belt which luckily for me what jammed stuck else climbing aboard would have resulted in a huge slide into the wires further down.

I spent a lovely weekend on the Bellarine Peninsula and on Friday the lovely Margaret and I had a lovely afternoon, lunching and photographing at Oakdene winery.
While we were wandering the gardens a chef popped out of one of the kitchens and was photographing what I thought at first, was a rock or some sort of driftwood, but on closer inspection and after asking her, I realised it was honeycomb.
'Do you like it?' she said . . . 'I've just made it. I will bring you some,' and with that she returned to the kitchen and came back with a delicious piece which Margaret and I shared, but not before I photographed it first off course!
It was delicious! Sweet, sticky, honey goodness!

Seems there are all sorts of issues with Flickr as they move servers so now seems like a good time to bury this upload. ;-) This is a companion piece to my previous post. On both images, I've introduced some motion blur in post, which I do think works better in the prior image, probably . . .
I'm still trying to catch up with everyone's photos after being away for a year - y'all have been busy! And here's to hoping Flickr's long-awaited improvements start to take shape soon.

The Mamiya does impress. Its paralysing pound or four is worth its weight in gold if only for the endless catcalls and remarks and conversations it inspires.
I met Terrence - in the Cameron Highlands somewhere between the roses and the butterflies - because we were packing the same camera - almost - and it turned out that we both had Flickr accounts as well. (His is an inspiration; do visit!)
He also so-very-kindly gave me some Fuji 800Z to try out, and without his generosity (Thanks so much, Terrence!) this picture would not be brightly wishing you...
