Good morning! It's amazing what a couple of days off can do to one's mood. People always ask how I lost 40 lbs. I think one of the biggest factor was switching my cereal to ones with high fiber content. My favorite one so far is Barbara's Shredded Oats from Trader Joe's. It's lightly sweetened and crunchy.

Many thanks for all your kind wishes on my wedding shoot for my niece last Friday, I was very nervous to get it right for her, but looking at the images on the whole I think I did alright and am pleased with what I did, when I have finished editing the 850 I whittled down to then I will show some of them .

Not just any waffles... these are 6 grain protein packed apple, banana, greek yogurt, cinnamon waffles inspired by my hairdresser who makes a similar pancake version. I'm so glad nobody can see how I am crammed between my piano and couches in my front room, it's a tight squeeze and I feel like a contortionist trying to set up and shoot but my aim was to get the steam from the waffle iron and the only way I could muster it was for another black background. I guess it's really my signature style but I was hoping to branch out a bit.

A marmite shot of the sun going down this evening behind Swansea's Guildhall. Not quite the shot I envisaged because by the time my little legs got me to this point of the beach, the tide was coming in fast and furiously and I'd have got soaked squatting down to capture the sun at the top of it.

UP on the Rio Grande, I don't like it but it beats the hell out of zero trains. And while the Grande would look infinitely better here the UP isn't that bad.

This is the historic grape press barn for Trefethen winery in Napa. We enjoy their wines quite a bit, and it was good to finally visit their vineyard on a gorgeous afternoon. Hoping to return sometime soon!
