A few days ago, a vehicle took out the white blossom crepe myrtle my wife and I had in our yard. We noticed that there are now shoots where the tree is trying to come back from the roots.

I have been a hobby photographer for a number of years. I started with a Fuji digital point and shoot my father in law bought for my wife and I. Through the years I bought a number of point and shoot cameras before purchasing a used DSLR a couple of years ago. Today, I decided to pull out my old HP low end point and shoot. I like to pull out one of my low end cameras from time to time. First, it reminds me of my beginnings in the hobby. Second, now that I am more used to DSLR cameras, it gives me a challenge to try and get a somewhat quality picture from a low end camera. So, here is one of the images I captured today with the old HP camera.
