We were at Colorado National Monument, a grand landscape of the American West, waiting at Cold Shivers Point scenic lookout for the right light to begin our Chasing The Golden Light fun along the Scenic Rim Rock Drive !

Does light make a sound as it splashes into a flowing river and briefly transforms the green into drops of liquid gold?
This question popped into my head when I came around a bend near the end of my hike, as the sun was dropping behind the trees along the river bank, and this patch of beautiful light on the water caught my eye. Once thus captured, I was drawn into the moment as if enchanted. I stood in the one small spot where this magical scene was visible, as the light danced and the river sang.
And there I stayed while the water sparkled and shimmered, until it spoke in a fading voice with quiet promises of unwritten poems and unheard songs, and the gold slowly dissolved into the encroaching dusk.
What are wishes?...
They are possibilities...

Another photo from the boat ramp. There was a dilapidated pier that led out to a gazebo next door to the ramp. I thought the gazebo would make a nice mid ground (Along with the Osprey and her two chicks in the nest on the pylon), and the rocks and grass as the foreground. Two frames focus stacked in Photoshop for depth of field.

As we drove along the roads adjacent to Iguassu Falls, NP, suddenly, a troop of Capuchin monkeys dashed across the road in front of us. I was able to get a few shots before they all vanished in the dense forest.
