View down Çapraz Creek towards lake Uluabat, Turkey. Without my own transport I am restricted to clicking through a bus window...one day I hope to visit this spot to photograph it properly! Interesting fact that lake Uluabat, at it's deepest, is often only 3m deep! In winter, after snow melt, wetlands around the lake swell it's size dramatically...the left of this shot is all water, giving the trees very wet feet!
The Warm golden Sun casts it shadow over the land and top of Hen Mountain as seen from a perch near the top of Spelga Mountain. www.glensumnerphotography.com

A few minutes before the Sun actually rose above the buildings but I love the golden light of this moment.
An impressionist take where the light was king. And the rain was something! This is a Karst Limestone region, often referred to as the inland Ha Long Bay in Vietnam. Its a few hours south of Hanoi, well worth the visit and the long steep trek to the top. Just a touch of topaz.
PLEASE: NO use anywhere, in any media without my express permission.
THANK YOU for every visit, comment and fave! Des
A thick fog resisted the charms of the warm sun one morning in Florida. But the afternoon was a blue-sky sunny day with summery temperatures, just like every other day on our eight day vacation in Florida.
Side lit cherry blossoms in Royal Botanical Garden, Burlington, blooming earlier than those in Toronto because of warmer temperature around the lake. Holding up quite well against strong winds.

Time moves softly between the folds of Dreams ….
advances cautiously so as not to get noticed ….
We become aware of its passage ….
only when it is already too far away ….
..... and no longer returns ....
Il tempo scivola lieve fra le pieghe dei Sogni .…
avanza cauto per non farsi notare ….
Ci accorgiamo del suo passaggio ….
solo quando è già troppo lontano ….
..... e non torna più ….

There was no mystery about the bird in the evening's golden light on Sanibel Beach--it was a first winter Laughing Gull. The mystery was the identity of the object in its mouth.
The consensus of opinions among the volunteer rangers was that it was the tail of a fish, the name of which no one could remember. I watched for about twenty minutes, and the gull did not move, and the tail didn't either. Eventually, the sun set completely and the gull slipped into the darkness.
