Totally inspired by some clip art, this little guy is excited to be going to a 3D movie, even though his glasses are way too big. Because Godzilla is a novelty fabric and technically against the rules, I offer up this guy as a second choice.
This is exactly how I feel when I wear 3D glasses, I have such a little face AND I wear glasses, so it's extremely uncomfortable and awkward to wear them. :)
Those of you in the movie group can pick between Godzilla and this one, but I need to know ahead of time, so I don't make too many.

Here's a quick behind-the-scenes look at Revenge. The very, very angry building is held up by a plate on his rear side, which sits atop a column of clear 1 x 2 bricks (which were removed from the picture in post-processing). To help give the impression of massive size, he sits on a small platform that keeps him well above the heads of the lizard men from a ground-level perspective.
I had originally designed the building with legs and arms made out of hinge plates and tiles, but soon abandoned them in favor of the black hoses, which ramp up the comedy value I think. They also help maintain the idea that this is a building, and not a boxy robot.
And as you can see, there are nine lizard men in the picture (and I have another unopened, for a total of 10). The TRU here got in about 20 boxes of Series 5. :D
It's a bit like The Young Ones house but with less violence...
This was my Friday night project, I think I will have to move it into the shed until Halloween!

Ladies and Gentlemen, today we bring you the exclusive footage of the fight of the century!
Jar Jar Binks vs Godzilla! The most calamitous creature in the multiverse versus the King of Mosters!
Will Godzilla be able to go through the Clumsy Creature’s plot armor and save the day?
Of course Godzilla is the good guy here lol :)
Is this the fight between Jar Jar and a shrunken Godzilla or Godzilla versus a gigantic Jar Jar?
The choice is yours!
What I can tell you is Jar Jar made another colossal mess and Godzilla is not pleased. As the Clumsy Creature is moving away leaving the destruction in his wake, Godzilla grabs one of his long hears.
Now it’s payback time!
This is just a simple photo but I always wanted to make a Jar Jar vs Godzilla scene so I couldn’t resist to make it using these action figures :)
I hope you like it :)
May the Force be with You :)
Here's my version of the GTR R34.
As you can see through the pictures, this model can be customized to a more aggressive looking version of the Skyline with wider front bumper intakes, intercooler, nitros, black hood, trunk and mirrors, and bigger rear spoiler. It can be customized in a couple of minutes and could do multiple combinations using the customizing elements.
Everything can open in this model, trunk, hood doors and even the glove box.
I'll also build a blue version soon of this model as it's very iconic color for the Skyline R34.
This model was built at the scale of 1:16 and took me around 1 and a half months to finish.
Hope you like it and thanks for looking :-)
Digital instructions will be available soon on my website:

"Nicknamed “Godzilla”, the GT-R has been called the track car that you can drive every day. It is quite fast and is equally impressive under braking, while having plenty of grip through the corners with precise steering inputs. It is very confidence-inspiring to drive and plenty of fun too."

LOL! And I was worried about what the kittens were going to do!
Part of my Christmas village is set up on the shelves above the dry sink in the dinningroom.
Stella's favorite place to sleep and spend time is in the dry sink. Right now it's full of my collection of plush Christmas Frogs, her cushion is in the middle of them, and she likes to nestle down in their midst to sleep.
Tonight she was feeling kind of frisky, and decided to rise up out of the flock of frogs and attack the unsuspecting skaters on the pond in the village above! She's not much for playing with toys.....this was a little out of character for my old girl!
I think she's feeling the Christmas spirit!
Wilson's Firework Stand
Vilonia, Arkansas
Faulkner County
Taken with a Holga 120N and two rolls of Kodak Gold 200 35mm.
Where to start on this? First of all this picture was taken in the middle of a brush fire. I kid you not. We pulled up to the firework stand just in time to see one of my former co-workers catch a hefty size portion of field on fire. My dad took off running to help out. I watched about four people run with fire extinguishers. It was actually a relatively small fire, in a relatively barren field, on a relatively calm day. I figured they had it under control. So I went about my mission of shooting this fantastic balloon with my Holga Monster.
By the time I walked back over to the crowd around the smoldering grass they had all noticed me taking pictures. I got harassed for a good while for taking pictures of their near disaster. I assured them I wasn't shooting the fire. (I totally did, but whatever.) I've know these people like half my life and am always happy to witness something else amusing. I am very glad the fire was put out quickly....
So how did I do this? It's a Holga mod. I ran two rolls of 35mm film through my Holga 120N. As the name implies it's supposed to take 120 film, which is much taller. With a lot of tape, foam, and determination a Holga Monster was created.
Now I attacked this with my usual gusto. I thought through almost every detail. The one that really got me was not realizing I had to make sure the 35mm film laid flat. A piece of foam at the top of the spool would have done this, however I realized my error once the Holga Monster was assembled. So a lot of the flaws seen on the picture above are due to this error. I may have had a few light leaks, but it appears most was caused from how the film laid. I think all the film was exposed to extra light when the shutter opened for the picture next to it. This gives that orange tone. Now I'm not a film expert, so I can't swear this is why, but it's my best guess.
Big thanks to Evan who had to hear me talk about this modification endlessly for about two weeks. Still like my moxy? Also thanks to Jason who suggested I shoot balloons with the Holga though I doubt he meant a giant Godzilla/dinosaur thing.
The Adventure Team have been sent out to a mysterious island in the Pacific, the Japanese call Monster Island. The Island was discovered in the 1950's and the legend is that a powerful monster lizard inhabits the Island. They call the monster ゴジラ Gojira or Godzilla. A team of researchers has not reported back from a mission on the island, and the AT have been sent to find them. Strange storms occurred around Monster Island making travel to it all most impossible. Few have traveled to the island and survived. Making three attempts them selves the AT made finally it. After Two days traveling inland they find remains of the research camp. Then they find the reason no one survives on this Island. Circa 1977
As a kid this was one of my favorite mash ups Adventure Team vs. Godzilla. Zilla and the Adventure Team guys had countless battles against each other. And this Godzilla has destroyed more green army men than I count. LOL

Mom: -Oh my my! Who would have thought?! I have bendable legs!
Patch: -Mom I just had a bootifool dream! I was a giant and all these little people treating me like a queen. They were frightened but I think I offered them protection. I don't remember all. Ah...yes! they were frightened by my baby Godzilla pet!
Mom: -Uh-huh ..that's great Pumpkin. ....I wonder if I can cross my legs too...
Patch: -MooOOOmm! You're not listening! Anyway It's time to play frisbee with Zillo.
Mom: -Zillo? Ah yes, the nice kid you invited to your Hot Cocoa party the other day?
Patch: -MoooOOOmm! The kid's name is ../
Zillo: -Grrooaarrr?
Patch: -Yes yes I'm coming Zillo. Bye Mom!

I recently discovered that Veracity has bendable legs, thanks to CooperSky in this picture. I always thought she had straight legs as they are very hard and... well..straight. But they do bend, they do! Now she can almost sit like a lady.

And uh..yes, just so you know, I broke the window, it wasn't Zillo. It fell down a couple of times and what was bound to happen, happened.
Another broken window affair!😱

Mojo's full registered name is "Mr. Mojo Rising", so titling this photo "The Lizard King" seemed especially appropriate. (My husband is a fan of the Doors, so I'm sure other Doors fans will get the reference, everyone else probably has no idea what I'm talking about)
Mojo is dressed as a lizard/dinosaur/Godzilla this Halloween. We're really not sure what the costume is... but we liked it.
This costume was also from Target.
The Nissan Skyline is one of the most iconic names in the car world, especially in it's performance GT-R trim. The GT-R line was born in 1969, but never made a full return until 1988 with the R32. The GT-R line eventually become synonymous with the Skyline after it's success, and the massive popularization of fast Japanese cars in the 90s. The GT-R ended up ebingone of Japan's only performance vehicles that never ceased production, even up to the current day.
The R32 is personally my favourite shape skyline, partly for its subtle yet aggressive stance. However, this subtleness made it pretty hard to build lol. It was a fun project to return to, after working on Uni stuff for the past few months. Hope you enjoy the model, and there's more pictures of this model and others on my
Destroyers and subs, Aurora models (including Godzilla, Dracula, Dracula's Hot Rod and King Kong), The Gilbert Chemistry set, all-important vice-grips, a Rat Fink model (Revell?), a gun display, and an invisible dog - all essential Beatles era stuff.

Shinjuku is one of Tokyo’s major hubs. It’s a business-shopping-entertainment district, which means there is something going on pretty much all the time. It’s also a microcosm of Tokyo: there are skyscrapers and neon lights but also yakitori stalls in old wooden shacks; luxury hotels and manga kissa; legacy department stores and discount electronics retailers…
Shinjuku is one of Tokyo’s most famous neighborhoods, and probably a place you want to visit. It doesn’t have many major sites, but it is a big destination for nightlife. Tokyo’s largest red-light district, Kabukicho, is here; so is the city’s gayborhood, Shinjuku Nichome. It’s also a major transport hub, for both Tokyo and the greater Kanto area, so odds are you’ll be passing through here at some point.
It's October, the month of classic monster movie marathons! But TCM has done something unusual and they're featuring Godzilla marathons every Friday evening in October!
Starting tonight!
Looking at the line-up, there are some that are traditionally harder to find in HD quality. Including the original Gojira (1954), Destroy All Monsters (1968), and one of our personal favorites, Godzilla vs Megalon (1973).
If you have TCM, it's 200 feet of radioactive fun! 😊
If you don't have TCM, you can always enjoy MyKaijuGodzilla.com's incredible photo stream! John has built amazing dioramas and sets up each shot so professionally that we honestly thought they were movie stills when we first saw them! Check him out!
Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to introduce the greatest… umm…largest Jedi in existence: Godzilla!
Well, from a certain point of view we can fairly say he is indeed the greatest :) Semantics lol :)
From now he will be known as Jedi-zilla (or Jedizilla or Jedi Zilla, as you prefer. Even thought the second will create confusion since I discovered it is the name of a plant and a spider: without the Jedi part of course lol )
If he’ll ever turn to the Dark Side (we are never sure a Force user won’t turn to the Dark Side) he will be known as Darth Zilla (with the same semantics issue above :) )
As weird lol as Godzilla Jedi Knight may seems let's not forger we got Jar Jar Binks as Senate Representative and Kylo Ren as villain, so we can have Godzilla as Jedi Knight lol :)
A little funny idea I had when I looked at this Godzilla action figure :)
I hope you like this photo :)
May the Force be with You :)
Oh, and May the Force be with Godzilla too :)
NOTE: Sometime ago I upload a Godzilla vs Jar Jar Binks and a couple of my friends here said they liked to see Jar Jar defeated by Godzilla. I didn't forget it: I'm still trying to find a nice way to show it. This Godzilla action figure is cool but its articulations on the legs are a bit limited and that didn't allow to make a good scene with a defeated Jar Jar :) It has amazing articulation on the head, neck and tail but not in the legs. I'm still working on it, though :)

Standing upright to scout the land, the fierce red squirrel overlooks his territory.
Definitely a mini-godzilla :)
Last night we had my son's 4th birthday party. It was a Godzilla themed party complete with a movie in the backyard. We did a drive in movie type thing. All the kids got a box to decorate like a car. My wife and i put wheels and steering wheels on them. The kids got to sit in the boxes and watch the movie like a drive in. We played Godzilla Vs. Megalon with Jet Jaguar and Gigan. I made the table decoration/diorama of the cityscape. My wife made the cake. We also had pin the fire breath on Godzilla and some cool vintage Godzilla posters hung up around the house.
For bootleg and generic monsters, Halloween is as tax season to accountants. The demand for fiends is so high that even the most mediocre monsters find work. These four are just leaving the casting agency.
Hunchy: Yeah, high five!! I got three gigs this week! I'm gonna be swinging around castle bell towers again!
Mammy: Right there, yeah!! I got one gig, but all week long there's a sarcophagus with my name on it!
Marv Griffin: I'm going to be the main scare in a haunted house! I can keep all tips!
Jirako: I'm playing Godzilla down at the Nemo Docks amphitheater!
If these bland baddies are careful with their halloween earnings they can do fine until the next season. But, they're never careful... they'll be begging parts again by January.

I'm looking forward to the new Godzilla movie coming in May. I hope it's not as bad as Godzilla 1998.
While I personally think the MCU is the best cinematic universe as of now, I'm also quite excited for the Godzilla x Kong universe that's coming soon!
I doubt Giant-Man can handle the 7 other Godzillas here: downtheblocks.blogspot.com/2018/05/lele-xl002-xl009-vario... !
Once there was a sentient gargantuan and kind lizard who lived on a planet far, far away.
His name was Khxrt’rnp’vrspl ( I assure you in his native idiom it sounds better :) and lived happily in a peaceful world.
One fateful day a group of humans activated a wormhole device and they met the kind lizard. He greeted them and he accompanied them across his planet.
Everything was going on perfectly until one of the humans said: “Hey, do you know you look like a famous cinema monster. You could become a famous actor”
“I don’t know- replied the kind lizard- My life here is happy”
“You would be a star! People would ask you to sign photos [very large photos, signed with very large pens, of course :)] You’ll be a folk hero!”
So the kind lizard was persuaded and he followed the humans back to Earth where he met the producers of his new film.
“You will be called Godzilla” the director informed him.
“But my name is Khxrt’rnp’vrspl” he politely objected him
“Nobody could utter your name, Godzilla will be your name” answered back the director.
“But- insisted the noble lizard- Isn’t Godzilla a trade mark?”
“It’s listed on vocabulary as a name and beside let our lawyers that care of that!”
That reply should have made the kind lizard suspicious of those persons’ nature but he was naive for on his planet he never knew suspicion or betrayal and so he agreed. Once more.
It wasn’t long before they started to shoot the movie’s first scenes.
He was starting to like the actor’s life but he was unaware the buildings he was destroying were not a movie set but real buildings!
The movie producers used him to attack the competitors while making millions on YouTube with the videos proving the “existence of Godzilla”.
When he realized he was double-crossed it was too late and he was already treated like the number one public enemy.
He was attacked by weapons he couldn’t even conceive and only his resilience and stamina kept him alive.
However to put the an end to the “rampaging threat of the invading alien lizard”, as he was often defined, they used a recently acquired shrinking technology on him.
So the kind, gargantuan lizard was reduced to the size of a human.
He was still strong for his size but saddened and hurt he decided to hide for he had no desire to fight.
The “threat" was neutralized, “victory” was achieved and so Khxrt’rnp’vrspl thought they would left him alone but it didn’t happen.
They wanted him dead for good and so they put a bounty on him. Still today hordes of mercenary, hired guns and fortune seekers hunt him down for money while unethical companies want to conduct terrifying experiments on him.
This is the sad story of the so called “Shrunken Godzilla” who simply wanted to be called Khxrt’rnp’vrspl.
What does future hold for the noble lizard? For years he managed to elude his pursuers but now a group of very skilled individuals is on his tracks and hiding may not be enough. The time to fight for his life has come…
I know I wrote a great wall of text lol but I created this little story concept and I wanted to share it with you. I hope you liked it. If you do, I can continue the the adventures of the noble lizard with more photos :)
Thanks for reading, my friends :)
This is my custom minifigure of the original 1954 version of the king of the monsters, Gojira. This post is definitely something different from my usual uploads, but seeing as it's been a year since the release of Godzilla: KotM I thought this would be the perfect time to release this figure.
This figure was designed in Adobe Photoshop and uses all existing molds (for now 😉). Making the custom printed pieces for this minifigure was a lot of fun to do and I am very satisfied with the way they turned out.
Now that I have experimented a bit with this style of making my own figures, I am definitely planning to make more of these in the future though they will likely take some to make. At least it's something for you guys to look forward to.
