If you don't have food why are you still here?

RKO_9617. Male Kingfisher taking a bath!

It's so difficult to take a decent sharp shot of a fast flying kingfisher, not to mention a handheld shot of a kingfisher coming out of the water!

This capture is far from perfect, but it gives you a good idea of the dynamics and challenges to capture the moment! Timing, light, focus and settings.....!?

After being infected by a Spanish Corona beer, I had to be vaccinated at least for two times with a big can of Astra beer vaccine.... But I hate the side effects! ;-) Got dizzy, Miss Lizzy!

Some migrating great egrets stopped for a break on their way south....

The Great Tits were very busy today at the feeding station ... ☺

So as President of her fan club, vocal supporter and one to always point a giant searchlight in her direction (she loves the attention, I swear) I am excited to now announce Angel Swag! That's right, all 4,000,000+ followers of hers have been begging for official merch, today is the day! We got shirts, hats, beach blankets, towels, signed posters and more! All proceeds minus 35% go directly to Angel. Message me in-world for pricing and fan club membership.

For the 11 of you not yet following her, grab this link. She is an amazing friend, huge heart and certainly deserves the recognition <3 www.flickr.com/photos/angelroxley

Back out on Watermelon Pond in Newberry Florida. Some locals with some cool lights on the boat. I snapped this drone shot from above ✌️😎

Got the chance to shoot these two hotties, so was not going to pass that up...

Bambi got another idea and I had to take it from the opposite angle of her shot. Find her version here:-

P.S. Poor Daisy just did not want to cross the bridge. Her face just said, "Nope." Meanwhile, Hector is smelling the nature, if you check Bambi's shot, he is totally breathing it all in. Doesn't matter that he topped poor Bambi who is about to fall... (Her Cap is already flying) Of course, I don't know how he managed to insert himself between my legs. Hector always gets me in trouble. Remember the time at the beach? -.- Yeah...

Welcome Swallow (Hirundo neoxena)

As I wandered home from the wetlands a number of Swallows were darting around the Woodville Oval. So despite recent failures to catch one in flight and the very dull light I decided to see if I could get a half decent shot. Not up to the standard of my Flickr mate Rodger's ( www.flickr.com/photos/62434662@N05/ ) Swallow images but I am reasonably happy with this one and one other of the ten I shot.

Great Egret perched up in a tree, contently preening and scratching on a foggy morning. We've had a lot of those lately.

If I'm going to have the blues because of this covid-19 thing, then I want to have the Tahoe Blues. But you can keep the contrails. I don't trust them. Now I'm off to write a new piano blues. Guess what I'm calling it?

This lady blackbird was quite bold in coming to my friend's house begging for raisins.

Nessie has 3 pairs of blackbirds that loiter around hoping for titbits, but this is the only one that doesn't fly away as soon as you open the door.

LOL they call me Bruce I'll have to complain.

Wallpaper 'World View' competition second place winner

First runner-up: Bruce Novak

‘Man in front of Sky’

‘Although a relatively straightforward photograph, Bruce Novak’s shot immediately stood out as an interesting study of a young man. The uncertainty of the setting – a cloudy sky which on closer inspection is an image riveted to a wall, combined with a strong composition and the daydreaming adolescent, create the kind of portrait that could easily appear in Wallpaper*.’
