As previously explained, for whatever reason (and I still don't know what it was) I was excluded from my Flickr account from May 2017 to December 2018. Dusing that time, I opened another account, to which I posted around 600 images. When I eventually managed to get my original account back, the second one vanished, leaving those images in limbo. So whenever i hit a slack period, I am going back and digging some of them out. This is my mate and some-time snooker partner, Steve, totally unaware of the phone on the cushion behind the black!

Hello heroes. As you know there is the refurbished cameras category on GoPro official web: Hero 5 Black, Hero 5 Session, Hero 4 Silver, Hero 4 Black, Hero Session. They aren't new but have the same high quality standards and minor cosmetic flaws. The question is: is worth to buy it or not? The answer depends on a situation, but I'm going to make your choice wise. You have to know that boxes of new and refurbished camera are different because GoPro provides refurbished-specific packaging.
First look at Hero Session. The new one costs 149.99$, and the refurbished one - 139.99$. You can save just 10$. In my opinion it isn't worth to buy refurbished Hero Session.
Next we try to compare refurbished cameras: Hero 5 session and Hero 4 Silver. Hero 5 session has awesome specifications: 4kp30, 1080p90, waterproof, video stabilization, wind noise reduction, voice control. And the Hero 4 Silver has touch display instead. So You have better add 10 dollars and buy Hero 5 session than Hero 4 silver.
After that we try to compare other refurbished cameras: Hero 5 black and Hero 4 black. Most of their specifications are the same, but hero 5 black has video stabilization, touch display, voice control, wind noise reduction, possibility to make raw + wdr photos and other. So it worth to pay 40 dollars more to get refurbished hero 5 black than refurbished hero 4 black.
Finally we have just 2 cameras, not 5. So it is easiest to make great choise.
You can save 80 dollars if you buy refurbished Hero 5 black than new.
You can save 60 dollars if you buy refurbished Hero 5 session than new.
You decide to buy or not to buy!

So we are going to make it clear for you!
As we know footage made by GoPro Hero 5 Black and Hero 5 Session have maximum bitrate of 60 Mb/s .
Video bitrates are described in megabits per second – while memory card write speeds are measured in megabytes per second.
It means GoPro's maximum bitrate of 60Mbps is actually 7,5 MB/s.
It should now be clear that 30MB/s or 240Mbps is more than enough for making footage with GoPro.
