I am still around! I haven't been posting as much as I'd like to.
I bought a new camera about two weeks ago. It's a GoPro HERO (2018). I needed a better camera since both of my Nikon DSLR's were ruined in the fire.

by the way,
if you want a black hero3 without chaos and before this xmas here in europe.
order the "surf" edition. they have plenty of them on stock.
the "adventure" edition is out of stock until next year.
the only difference is one of the many adapters and mounting plugs is different.
the camera and all the main parts are 100% the same.
Time to crack on with the upload backlog..... please have a look a few
pages deep if you have the inclination.

Using a hole I added to the plastic tab at the back of the chassis and the 2 body mount posts I was able to attach a mounting bracket for my GoPro camera. The bracket is made of sheet metal cut from an old computer case. The 3 points of connection to the car and the single bend shape makes it very sturdy.
