a fantastic view I got when I went to the top of mam tor in the Peak district...one of the best sunrises I have ever witnessed, along with the invasion of fog which covered the valley..it was actually weird going down after the sunrise, as the when I got to the bottom I couldn't see the top anymore nor could I see much infront of me while driving back through the villages
Staring out into the Sonoran desert, the Joshua Tree wilderness is quiet and still. In the distance you can hear the yips from a pack of coyote playing around, a few quail calls, and the rustling of creosote bushes.
True wilderness emits a feel that are rivaled by few other places on our globe. You’re taken back to a time hundreds of millions of years ago, it’s surreal, and at times emotional.
