This was the last image I took on the way home from my Scottish road trip, through the Highlands. It had been stormy on the way back, but for a brief moment the sun came out. I liked the way it danced on the mountains. Although this image doesn't have a focus point, I still like it. It reminds me to stay present, to live moment by moment.

Whistler Blackcomb is opening next week and I couldn't be more excited! The other day I decided to go for a hike above Emerald. We got some nice views but for the most part we saw a lot of clouds so I was lucky to get a decent shot.

If you are visiting Andorra la Vella and want to venture out of the capital city for a short hike, there are many trails to climb up the mountains that surround the valley. Many of the trails have outlooks with wonderful vistas. Itโs just a nice way to get out of the city and into nature.

Make a tea and sit by the window. Go outside and spend some time just looking at the world. Go somewhere on your own. Rent a bike. Write to a friend on a whim. Take a walk through the forest. Visit a cafรฉ. Donโt make plans.
If you are visiting Andorra la Vella and want to venture out of the capital city for a short hike, climb up to Sant Vicenรง d'Enclar and continue through the woods to see the Enclar River. You will be surrounded by forest, but you will start to hear the sounds of rushing water as you get closer to the river. Itโs just a nice relaxing place to visit after your hike up the mountain.

When visiting a city, have you ever just wanted to go for a hike? In Andorra la Vella, you can easily do that by walking along the Sola Irrigation Canal Trail, which you can see just to the left. Itโs a beautiful trail with great views of the city in the valley, as well as the mountains in the background. Itโs a nice trail to explore and get a little bit of exercise. Also, if you love cats, you will randomly come into contact with multiple cats from the neighborhood. They seem to hang out along the trail.
