Tough Guy Nettle Warrior is the Summer version of Winter Tough Guy and is run at the end of July, less of the cold, more of the pain! The course is essentially the same as Winter Tough Guy but with a number of evil twists.

Another cool thing about summer is getting to explore all the outdoor stuff that NYC has to offer. One of my favorite places to go to is Governors Island since there is always a bunch of outdoor art scattered throughout the island. Here is a 30-foot sculpture by Mark Handforth called “Painted Phone.” At first sight I was impressed by the sheer height of it! But after a while, I just wanted to pick it up and answer it. :P If you get a chance to visit NYC during the summer, you should go check it out!

These school lads would spend their evenings jumping over each other and performing cartwheels and acrobatics on the beach. They were extremely agile and confident and I was mesmerised by their abilities....
