I have been trying to capture my home town in the south of France. Probably one of my favourite places in the world for so many reasons and getting back there always brings back so many memories.
Overhead the light was oscillating between full sun and cloud. In between the extremes, this boulder seemed to glow for a few seconds.
A golden glow covers the water as the day turns into night.
I choose a satin/matte look during my editing process and a long exposure for the water.

We had lots of glow-worms this year. Girls and boys. We even managed to get two together. The one on the photo is either a larva or a girl.
The Music Pavilion in the Chinese Streamside Garden at RHS Bridgewater, lit up as part of their illuminated trail. "Glow" is on until 30th December.

Abstraction --
Eindhoven Glow 2010 is a light festival in the centre of Eindhoven. Many thousands of people are walking in darkness from one attraction to the next. Among them are thousands of photographers, mostly armed with impressive tripods.
Found some inspiration for the title... here
Just trying to take photos when and where I can at the moment.
I got into Bournemouth just before 8am and was greeted with this glorious sunrise.
The guy on the bike was the icing on the cake !

Sunrise on the Laratinga trail. A willow tree in a small creek. A touch of Color Efex glow and Topaz Simplify added in post.
Willows are not a native tree species to Australia but do often make a great .photo.
