For the Smile on Saturday challenge: "Gloves"
Winter is the time for indoor gardening! I bring all kinds of planters and plant pots into the house or the potting shed, to overwinter away from the frosts, gales and (sometimes) snow! So these are my lavender gloves - soft leather and flexible to help handling the plants gently.

I bought these gloves to handle my negatives to avoid dust at fatty finger marks. - For that purpose they were really really bad :) - worked nicely in a photo shoot
I believe this was one of our first attempts with flash on the old Flexaret. And probably a larger softbox.

My first visit to the Boxing Gloves on the Northern Edge of Kinder, Its an area that I've just dismissed over the years, always going some place else.
The evening light was forecasted, but as time ticked on it didn't seem like it was going to produce any light, then all of a sudden it broke through the clouds and gave some strong sidelight for 30 minutes.
I decided upon this composition because the rocks and the middle distance are lit up with that lovely glow.
I might share some others, but for now, I'm just enjoying being active again.

I like gloves. Gloves are kinda sexy. I once had a drawer full of gloves, all of which I found outside. Never bought a pair myself, because buying gloves was for wimps. Unless they're safety gloves for work or something. Well, actually those too. Fingerless however - those look badass. That's combat boots for the hands!

I love my handmade Eskimo gloves. Not only are they beautiful, but extremely warm in bitter cold weather.

I couldn't resist the play on words. I plopped my boxing gloves on a shelf last week and noticed they made a heart shape. So, I made them pose for me. :) Then I laid some Nik color effects on them: a bw conversion and more Nik glamour glow on them to blur them a bit and lose some detail. BTW, they really are PINK! Anyone who knows me knows that of course I would have pink boxing gloves. It makes me feel feminine while I'm pummeling the speed bag! ;-)
