During the day, NANAWALL panels open to provide a wide storefront opening, then the panels are tightly sealed shut after-hours.

First trip of the year to Catherine Creek yielded some nice Mourning Widow shots. It was interesting to compare "macro" versions using the 100mm Macro versus the 70-200 Telephoto. Love good glass!

Senate House - Madras University
It is one of the finest monuments in Chennai and a living example which shows the remarkable architectural skills of the famous architect of 19th century, Robert Fellowes Chisholm. The wonder of Chennai, the Senate house, located on the Madras University Campus, near Marina is a landmark in Chennai. The structure is a live example of the Indo-Saracenic style with a harmonious blend of Byzantine architectural features.
The Senate built in the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture, incorporates many elements of the Byzantine style.[8] The great hall of the Senate House is of immense height and proportions and considered to be the finest of its kind in India.
The Senate house has a central hall with corridors on the ground floor. The corridors stand on six massive pillars standing on either side. Also the four sky touching towers standing at each of the corners of the building gives it a dazzling look. The six porches, two on the eastern and western sides of the building and one each on the northern and southern side of the building further lend the structure a vintage look. There also are three segmental arch openings in each porch in the east, west and south of the porch. The roof is made of brick shell with lime mortar.

The Suntec City is a set of 5 buildings in the shape of the left palm, built on principles of design guided by faith. 4 of these buildings are 45 storey while the 5th building is 18 storeys. These were built in the Marina Center, and comprise a number of facilities such as a huge mall, a convention center, a large shopping area, an entertainment center. For some time, till the opening of the Vivocity, it was the largest shopping center in Singapore.
The Suntec Tower 5 also houses the ticket booking office of the Hippo and Duck tours, which are a popular transport method for tourists.
