I have depression and went through a divorce after a suicide attempt. This seemed fitting for me.

Yes, I still think about my failed attempt at dying. It's disheartening to know that, not only do you suck at life, you also obviously suck at death. I can't do anything right - including kill myself.

I also think about the things I would do differently the next time around. I won't share my ideas because I'm not an advocate of killing yourself. I'm just understanding as to why people do it or want to do it. I feel your (their?) pain.

For the times when you can't keep on going.

This is where I should put a cheesy message about how everyone should stick things out, but sometimes dropping your burdens and just relaxing for once is the best option.

I don't need more of these!

There were quite a few people I saw getting upset about The Postal Service headlining Lolla on a reunion for one album that came out over a decade ago. Personally, the point is taken though both Ben Gibbard and Jenny Lewis have been in other bands as well and this shouldn't be overlooked. Personally, at around the time the album came out, I was experiencing the most turbulence in my life. I had moved to Chicago for my first real job from upstate NY. I was trying to get my bearings in a big and new city when 911 happened. I pretty much listened to Give Up and PJ Harvey's Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea nonstop for months.

There are albums that you listen to that calm and reassure you and those that actually save you.

when i'm outside on the streets, i sometimes wish a car could knock me over. simply because i'm tired. and i want to give up.

happy belated new year!

bad news: my hard-drive in my laptop completely died on me and so i had to get a new one, meaning i lost all my documents/files/pictures/music - everything. which wouldn't suck except because i'm in IB i need all those files for the final exam.

good news: we sent it to this computer fixing place and hopefully they can recover the files.

new years resolution? resolute-ing not to make any

i never seem to keep them anyways and it seems rather pointless (sadly)

but maybe i'll come up with a good one i can stick to.
