Hunched over the new equipment, the old enlarger is behind the curtains at the back, the tracks on the floor were used to wheel it out into the studio. Each panel of their paintings is that particular size as that is the largest size they could print to with the analogue equipment. The tea tray is centre of the floor.
These are photos from the fifth, and most recent, Cedar Block event at the Milwaukee Art Museum, titled "What You Get When You Cross...". At the event 23 teams of local artists collaborated on a piece of artwork that paid tribute to the wit of Gilbert & George.
