Gilbert & George Scapegoating Pictures for Budapest exhibition, Jul. 8 - Sep. 14, 2017

Actual doorstep of the two well known E. London artists, the wearing effects and aptly-positioned crack created by their own feet departing and arriving, mostly in tandem, over 50 years - roughly the length of time they have been in residence at that address. Spittalfields, E. LOndon

I really like this image. It gives you an idea of how huge the gallery was. Er, is. it's still there if you're in NY.

SCAPEGOATING PICTURES for London by Gilbert & George at the White Cube Gallery, Bermondsey

CREATIVE TIME used my photo on their blog. www.creativetime.org/programs/council/blog/2008/12/flickr... Creative Time ran the Gilbert & George video in Times Square to correspond with the exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum. The photo had previously been blogged by the Brooklyn Museum.

To be honest, I just wanted to give away and publish the first photo here, but as it seems to be necessary to have five pictures here to be included in de public search these are saved from the trash here...

Just caught the huge Gilbert & George exhibit at the De Young. You must see it. You'll laugh, you'll start to look at some things differently -- especially poo -- and you may be asked to be a "living sculpture" just like old G&G themselves.

Opening party for SCAPEGOATING PICTURES for London by Gilbert & George at the White Cube Gallery, Bermondsey

Hunched over the new equipment, the old enlarger is behind the curtains at the back, the tracks on the floor were used to wheel it out into the studio. Each panel of their paintings is that particular size as that is the largest size they could print to with the analogue equipment. The tea tray is centre of the floor.

These are photos from the fifth, and most recent, Cedar Block event at the Milwaukee Art Museum, titled "What You Get When You Cross...". At the event 23 teams of local artists collaborated on a piece of artwork that paid tribute to the wit of Gilbert & George.
