today i took the first step to a better me.
i got on the scale for the first time in about six months.
i'm signing up for weight watchers online tomorrow.
and starting next saturday i'll be doing zumba classes.
my boyfriend brought me lunch at work today...
the last bit of the heavenly honey walnut shrimp that i'll be eating for awhile.
this was the fortune inside my cookie.
its like it was meant to be :)

This isn't as bad as it may look.
Had my second Infliximab infusion this morning at the Royal Newcastle Centre Infusion Lounge. One of the other patients commented that it sounded like we were booked into some hip coffee shop.
There was coffee, but it wasn't hip or happening.
I took Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy to read, and didn't even open it. There was plenty of talking going on instead with the other people having infusions.
I didn't have phenergen (sp?) this time, only Zyrtec and hydrocortizone. But I was still a bit sleepy. Must be having this stuff pumped into me that does it. The other two thought the same thing.
Total dose. 500mg in 500ml of saline over 2.5 hours.

After my indulgence yesterday during dinner, I am back to my usual workout schedule today again. Did 7.05 km run in 45mins, follow by some basic push ups, crunches, plankings, before seimming a few laps in the pool. Really drained but feels great accomplishing todays workout! Lol....
