The Barb City Stompers played at Cornfest this year. While I'm all for trains, this was not the ideal location to put the band as they played at CornFest this year. Despite the engineer laying on the horn loud and proud, without missing a beat...the band played on.

The previous lingerie pic seemed quite popular, so here is one more!

They just don't make them like this "Get Well" vintage 1960s greeting card, with its super cute design and gold-toned highlights.

This was something that I quickly made earlier today for an event we're hosting in August for RMAI Pastors within our district.

This is the screen graphic version of a flyer that had a lot more info, so I opted to upload the prettier version.

We've got a little bit before the event, so if you guys have any thoughts on how to improve this a bit, I'd appreciate the feedback!

Heather Jean absolutely hates cold weather - like anything less than 70 degrees. I was very surprised when she decided to shoot outdoors in 20 degree weather - but she rocked it. She initially started with a gorgeous outfit, froze, left for home then showed back up in a very fashionable winter outfit - and with her dog. Fun shoot and it was great to actually thaw out. We did this shoot the day after Christmas 2021 in the Star River Walk Park.

getting the sound levels right for the Daf. Malindi Morris is a well known Brisbane Daf performer. At MOSAIC.

The daf (Persian: دف‎ daf; Sorani Kurdish: دەف‎ daff; Arabic: دُفْ‎ duf) is a large Persian and Arabic frame drum used in popular and classical music. The frame is usually made of hardwood with many metal ringlets attached, and the membrane is usually fish skin but other skin types such as cow, goat, and horse are used.[1] The Daf is mostly used in Greater Iran, Arab world, Indian subcontinent, Kurdistan, and Central Asia, and usually accompanies singers and players of the tanbur, violin, oud, saz and other Middle Eastern instruments. Some dafs are equipped with small cymbals, making them analogous to a large tambourine. (Wikipedia)

Love , Love . Love getting out shopping .

He had a wander around in the garden for a while and then decided to take a closer look at me. He jumped up onto this little pine border edging and gazed at me fluttering his little wings expectantly, but to no avail as I had nothing on me to give him. He was about 4ft away from me at this point :)

Sometimes you have to get a little lost to find what you are looking for. I went east from home to capture the sunrise armed with my gps and a new map. In an unfamiliar area, I decided to get a little lost and look for something interesting that would work with the sunrise.

This "Valley 8000" centre pivoting irrigation unit fit the bill. Farmers are up before the crack of dawn and this fascinating unit looked to almost meet the horizon. I was so remote there was ample time to set up my tripod in the middle of the road, change to a longer lens and bracket for exposure.

It was fun to get a little lost.

Monday's over.....just have to get through the rest of the work week.

Really likin' CS6 beta. I had to install an new video card in the puter to get all the effects to work but after that, all is sweet. Discovering new things all the time that are so excellent. Trial and error exploring mostly. In selections ...the new refine edge dialogue has some new tricks and works great. That's what I discovered tonight. My new Lightroom 4 is kind of glitchy. I Like it but there's some bugs to work out. Thing starts blinkin' around like I do in the mornings getting out of bed when the alarm goes off. Actually I just lie there and blink around on my back for a while before I get out of bed. So I'm sympathetic and will offer up some patience since I already bought, it hook line and sinker. I'll probably pull the trigger and buy CS6 too when the free beta thing runs out. Smart marketing. Suck you in for free. Get you to invest a boat load of time and an new Video Card so then ya feel totally committed and hooked. I would say that this is marketing genius on Adobe's part but the low life street corner drug dealers have been workin' that approach for some time now. Handing out the free fix and then you're hooked. Some drug dealer must have gotten busted, straightened out their life and gone legit, working for Adobe in marketing now. I may have to break into some homes and do some burglarizing to get the cash for my CS6 upgrade fix. Not really. Just making some parallels with my train of thought. Train off the tracks.

Tomorrow's Tuesday! Be careful out there.....
