The light and color was wonderful when we visited North Lake west of Bishop, California. The above shot is a two image pan. The images used in the pan are single shots, unmodified in color or contrast. I did clone out a few fishermen on the far side of the lake but nothing else to obscure the natural beauty of the place. Stitching was performed with photomerge in CS5.

Few days ago i get an information about one of my friend... Damea he is a Pro photographer of surfing... he was at Bali sessions and he had accident... at first when i saw shots of his foot i thought like others friends that shark bit him...like it happand sometimes at surfers world but he says that it was motor bike accident... I dont know exactly how and what happend but... he had broken his foot in 3 places, cut it open pretty bad, and decided to go to a better hospital to Thailand... alone with his only stitch foot...

At the hospital he had surgery which went smoothly but they found another broken bone...

I was worried about him and i am still... thats all me :)

Today new says that now they want to wait around while if it heals and then get the surgery on the 3 other broken bones and that intravenous morphine, antibiotics, and surgeries are making his life difficult...

But I'm happy that everything goes in a good direction and i hope everything will be okey... just only feel bad that i cant help him...

This year for the Ohio Central Polar Express trains from the Dennison Depot, OC Super 7 4099 is on the west end and GP38-2 2072 is on the east end. With emerging reports that all of OC's GE units could be headed to New England in trade for P&W GP38-2's, I would recommend getting pics of the Super 7's in Ohio as soon as possible.

If you've not seen it then Get Out is a great film, and well worth watching.

With all 4 feet off the ground, this bucking bronco was determined to get rid of the rider.

Walking down one of the many trails at the arboretum, couldn't help but notice lots of these ornate seed pods on the Cypress trees growing next to the lake. Never too late to start getting ready for the next generation.

Today's warmer weather and the melting snow created thick fog across the Boston area, especially in the higher elevations of Winchester and Wright-Locke Farm. Turbo and Slim (big white goats) can be seen in their enclosure, while black goat Will is poking his head out of the hut.

Another shitty forecast today which ended up doing the exact opposite of what was said. Weather was forecast sunshine and cloud all day, clearing out late evening to clear skies for the night.. well it actually rained the entire day, no sun at all in Carlisle. St Bees however was sunny all afternoon from dinnertime through till early evening, and it looked like it was going to clear out like it had been said so. Having seen 68007 and 68023 go in to Sellafield last night and seeing the quadruple allocated to 6C46 on TOPS, I made the effort to go out for tonight's working in the hope that the TPE one was leading and based on the forecast it looked promising. Well I got there and arrived at my spot in full bling, stood there for an hour or so in sun, then at about 7pm a change of wind direction just pushed all the blue sky out to sea, as you can see towards the right of this shot. Along with the sun went my hopes for a decent shot. In fact, by the time this passed, it was at the darkest it had been all day and the sun was never to be seen again. Claps of thunder and hail showers were rolling in as this passed but it had to be recorded nonetheless.

The weather forecasting has been an absolute shambles in the last two weeks and I've spent nearly all day every day venturing out, doing so much walking that my feet have blistered and still not got anything to show for my hard work. I can only try again going out every day until I get something.

Green Heron Fledgling out of the nest. One of two, quite challenging to get anything approaching a clear shot. This was the third angle with the least layers of branches and leave to see through.

Karen and I were taking photos of Hershey and Cooper and trying different poses. It seems that Hershey here got a little bored with all the going on's, promptly laid down and that's where he stayed. Cooper on the other hand is quite the photo hog and doesn't mind in the least of having his photo taken.
