Hardy geraniums are perfectly hardy in England. They make wonderful long flowering border plants and excellent weed supressing ground cover that is never invasive and is easy to control.

Geranium viscosissimum. Photo taken in early July near Slough Creek Campground.

The bloom of a wildflower depends on the weather conditions and climate. Be aware that the month of bloom can vary or even overlap.

Geranium 'Patricia', mid May. Raised in the Orkneys (G. endressii x G. psilostemon) by Alan Bremner and named after Patricia Doughty. Large magenta flowers with a dark centre over most of the summer.
