My first Angel and still my favorite!

Perennial herb.Flowers solitary; petals pink becoming white towards base and with darker veins. Anthers yellow.

 

Grows on creek banks and in swamps.

Hardy geraniums are perfectly hardy in England. They make wonderful long flowering border plants and excellent weed supressing ground cover that is never invasive and is easy to control.

This is usually grown for it wonderful dark foliage but this year the flowers are a star.
