Of course this is not a diamond ring but a black jade ring with diamond facets.
Happy Macro Mondays! 😄
My attempt at the "Macro Mondays" theme "Geometry Shapes".
A point of clarification before everyone‘s rejoicing in the streets: That‘s just a title, I‘m not stopping yet! So, 'sorry' in case you thought there’s finally an end to the sunflowers and hexagons and other various attempts at photography... And 'hello there' if you have absolutely no idea what I‘m rambling about!

Macro Mondays: "Geometry Shapes" theme
HMM
Macro Monday's and the theme of "Geometry Shapes".
For this weeks theme I had to choose Nuts. They have two geometrical shapes in one. Circles on the inside and Hexagon around the outside.
I chose to arrange six in a kind of Triangle as well. Also I decided to use the old trick of illuminating them with flash but putting Blue and Red gels on for a splash of colour.

A small packet of lego 'pieces' that i found in a cupboard and tipped on to a geometrically-marked crafting cutting board. I liked the way they fell!
(I have no clue what set they are from, or indeed where it might be now, and especially why we never finished it and haven't used this packet.)
Image is approx 2 inches across.
Geometry shapes made by nature.
Thanks for taking time to fave, comment and look at my work. I really appreciate.
It's just beginning to open as the first rays of sunlight fall upon it.
I see fie small circles near the center and the outer shape of the flower is almost circular.

I posted other photographs this week that are more geometrical, but I just liked the look of this one.
If pattern appears invisible, turn off utilities that lower your display color temperature at night. It surprised me while uploading the image.
A vent panel, perforated in a diamond pattern (well, actually, 3/16" [4.8mm] squares turned 45˚), on a door to a kitchen cabinet that formerly housed a water heater.
This is an area of cut crystal with a long row of pyramids. From above they appear as a square and from the side it is a triangle. You get the impression of both here. The crystal is back lit and the directly out of camera special effects are from the trusty Pentacon on macro tubes.

Happy Macro Monday to y'all!
Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them; disagree with them; glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do. --Used in the Apple "Think Different" marketing campaign
