Happy Fence Friday!
Oft shot location in downtown Tacoma for obvious reasons, crazy cool architecture and I've never been able to find out the inspiration for the flying elevator there, but I'm glad for it. :)
I would like to thank everyone for their warm wishes yesterday, I hesitated for days on what I'd say and in the end the whole story seemed appropriate. Tonia says thanks as well. I would like to reiterate that her prognosis is extremely good, oh, and she spoke to her Doc yesterday and she will not need a third surgery and probably will get radiation rather than chemo. yay!

a sliver of light slices through silence. the man is no more than a moving shadow—part of the wall, part of the void. in this moment, even the geometry breathes.
in the quiet bend of la latina, shadows fall with purpose. one man drifts forward, heavy with silence, while others linger behind—etched in angles, soaked in late light. time here is a geometry of motion.

CSX 99nice heads north by the CPL at S. Piqua, OH with W003-12, the famed Geometry Train. The crew will tie down in Lima for the night before continuing for Walbridge. How appropriate a former MARC unit gets to pass by the very type of signals it saw on its original territory.
I took an architectural boat tour of the Chicago River and it was well worth it to get a different perspective on the city.
