I composed this image by taking decor from my home and holding it up to the sunset. It demonstrates focal rule of thirds. The background gives the subject emphasis, and the color from the sun makes it stand out. I adjusted the levels and brightness in this photo. The objective was to capture a geometric shape. I selected this photo because it really focuses on the shape itself.
