My eye was caught by these two small windows. I'm not convinced they serve any useful purpose but I imagine the architect found them essential to the design.

The window on the left is a "normal " size. I just preferred a square crop

I loved the shapes as I sat during dinner in Potts Point Brazilian restaurant Favela last week. Could be made of cardboard, nothing fancy, but nice structure to be sure.

During my trip to Atlanta this week, these are views of geometric patterns seen around and about my hotel downtown. This was a view off the hallway outside my room down towards the lobby.

This is a card I made for this week's Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World - that's my excuse for going a bit felt and fabric crazy on this card! More details are on my blog stampingandstitching.blogspot.ie/2013/04/scrappy-tuesday-...

This is the Old Cape Spear Lighthouse (operational from 1836-1955). It's light was removed to the new lighthouse in 1955, but the original lightkeeper's house surrounding the tower has been restored to the year 1839 and is open to the public during the summer months. This is the oldest surviving lighthouse in Newfoundland and is built on the easternmost point in North America.

"The design and execution would be okay as a practice effort in a private area during the artist's/artists' training period, but a long-term work of public art on a downtown thoroughfare demands greater professionalism than this," I said.

The shape, of course, is the rectangular monolith, and the circular starlight bokeh. Of course, the movie never showed the cavemen or astronauts licking the monolith to find out whether it was chocolate or not..!

UPDATE: This should definitely fit in the Our Daily Topic of "Food" for Aug 19-25, 2013. Who said you shouldn't play with your food?
