www.landscape-design-advisor.com - This elegant front walkway is the creation of landscape architect John Feldman with Santa Monica based Ecocentrix in California. Oversized squares of natural stone blend Old World charm with modern landscape design for an exquisite front yard with real curb appeal. The stone pathway provides an alluring contrast to the lush green lawn, inviting visitors to the entryway of the home. Stately trees on either side of the front walkway enhance the landscape’s contemporary appeal.

The art museum in Hong Kong has one of the most amazing buildings I've ever seen. The way the light passed through the archways coupled with the symmetry of the building begged for a photo.

A striking black and white perspective of modern architecture in Copenhagen. The curved building lines twist towards the sky, creating a dynamic play of geometry, light, and shadow. This abstract composition captures the fusion of design and creativity, highlighting the elegance and futuristic spirit of urban architecture.
Our Daily Challenge ... geometric shapes.
Not sure how this happened but I like the result. I think it emphasises the geometric shapes ... triangles and squares ... quite well. I went to Sea World with the family today. It was rainy and cold but everyone still had fun. Superman had his umbrella and posed beside the giant icecream for me.
I was thinking the challenge was geometric shapes but I just noticed it's geometry. Maybe the one in comments fits the challenge better.

This is my first major watercolor painting. I first sketched a draft of the tree, then painted in the individual shapes.
These are the ruins of a wonderful old Power Plant for the local coal mine in my home town in Pa. This series is a part of a shoot in late March when snow was in the air and on the floors and throughout the rooms from open windows.
FIVE unedited outtakes in the comments!
Knowing that there was really no way to top yesterday's self portrait, I kind of half-assed this one... sorry. I'm sure you'l find it in your hearts to forgive me.
Also, last night I was looking through old photos and videos and stuff (on my external harddrive, of all my files from my Canadian computer) and it was wildly entertaining. I used to be pretty crap at this, and now I think I've grown considerably! Yay for progress!
And another thing: as much as I hate to admit it, I'm getting tired of my music and can't really get anything new at the moment... someone needs to make me a mix cd. (of GOOD music...) Any takers? (I will send you my mailing address, should you need it!)

I love color but I'm always wary of too much of a good thing. Thankfully my addiction to throw pillows and books give me the ability to switch up my color palette easily.
