At the fourth of five St Paul's Forum events in autumn 2013, David Lammy MP and Revd Lucy Winkett took to the Cathedral floor to speak on the subject of peace.
Generosity could save the world. There is enough food and money for everyone on the planet if we took only what we need and gave the rest to those who have too little. But can we actually change our hearts, minds and politics enough to do that? And is there more to generosity than giving things away? The original meaning was nobility of spirit, and what would it mean – and take – for generosity of spirit to inform our politics, our religion, our personal lives, our encounters with strangers?

Have you ever noticed that when you give you get so much more back in return.
We decided to participate in Macmillan's worlds biggest coffee morning in the office today, we had loads of delicious homemade cakes and the opportunity to network with colleagues that you don't often get to speak too.
Everyone supported the event with such generosity, It was so pleasing to how much money we raised for Macmillan who do an amazing job supporting people and their families just when they really need it.
So Macmillan get some money to put to excellent use and we all got a Friday feeling in the office on a Monday, to me thats getting back more than you give.

Thanks to the generosity of community members, CADL Mason is undergoing renovations! By combining a grant from the Dart Foundation with donations from the Margaret Doolittle estate, the Mason Library Friends and the City of Mason, the library is making nearly $34,000 worth of improvements. When it reopens on June 3, you’ll see new vinyl windows, fresh paint, new carpet, new seating, better lighting and some beautiful art installations. Outside projects include
a new catch basin, roofing work and upgraded landscaping.

I actually hate this picture. I was tired, had a migraine, and needed to take this. So I did, it wasn't very good, and I threw in a bunch of photoshop effects to try and salvage it. Maybe I'll take one on campus for today's (this was from yesterday) and it will be better.

bag measures, 13" wide x 12" tall laying flat. braided strap is 42" long.
