With the generous support of the MAVA Foundation and the UN fund for Gender Equality, SPNL organized a Hima education summer camp in collaboration with the municipality of Anjar from 2 to 4 September 2013. The camp targeted children of the age group between 8 and 12 from both of the communities of Anjar and Kfar Zabad. The camp signified the launching of SPNL educational program SNOW- School with No Walls ,which aims to raise awareness about the Hima IBAs and KBA, species and ecosystems through the hands on program, and learning through fun.

Taste of Generosity was held at the Nicollet Island Pavilion on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. This fundraising event included a live and silent auction, dining, and plenty of socializing with wonderful supporters and volunteers!
On May 9 and 10 the Foundation hosted a donor recognition event for the first time since 2019. Donors were invited to an inspiring evening with student ambassadors who are award, bursary and scholarship recipients.
Larry Nelson is my wonderful, generous son who did most of the planning for and made this dreamed about father/son trip of a lifetime possible. I am eternally grateful to him for this gift that we shared together, gathering memories to last the rest of our lifetimes.

A generous supporter invited the Iowa crew and guests to catered dinner at his private classic car museum. He asked that we don't reveal the location, and I'll only say this is in southern California.
It was amazing to see so many rare, beautiful cars. Everything works! As much as I enjoy them I'm no good at identifying most of them. Those I do know are shown in the tags. I'll be updating if/when I get solid info.

This CreativeMornings Moscow event was generously hosted by Garage Museum of Modern Art. Sergey Shanovich was our speaker. The breakfast was provided by Pie Point, Dashiny Pirozhki, Belyovskaya pastila, Soviet Dacha, NoCream, Max Brenner Chocolate Bar. willow-herb milk and honey tea was provided by Medospas project. Yield: 8 servings
Strawberries, fresh chopped 1 c
Orange, fresh peeled and chopped 1 each
Kiwi, fresh peeled and chopped 3 each
Pineapple, canned crushed drained 8 oz
Onions, green chopped -- 2 each
Pepper, green chopped -- ¼ c
Lemon juice -- 1 Tbsp
1. In a mixing bowl, stir together all ingredients.
2. Chill and serve with cinnamon tortilla chips.
Cinnamon Tortilla Chips:
Sugar, granulated -- ½ c
Cinnamon -- 1 tsp
Flour tortillas, 8-inch -- 10 each
Margarine, melted -- ¼ c
1. Preheat oven to 350º F.
2. Combine sugar and cinnamon.
3. Brush tortillas with melted margarine. Cut each tortilla into 8 wedges.
4. Generously sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over tortilla wedge.
5. Place wedges on baking sheet and bake in a 350º F oven for 5-10 minutes.
