Thoroughly chuffed to find a young Lizard basking on the log where we'd previously seen an adult pair. The female was gravid back in June, and this is obviously one of her offspring. Great to know a new generation will continue at this location.

The livery is copied from Hallmark of Luton, from whom I believe Generation bought a coach and liked the colour scheme.
“Life is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got a hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it onto future generations.”

..>After a three-year hiatus, Ford released a second generation of the SVT Lightning for the 1999 model year. In line with its 1993-1995 predecessor, the second-generation Lightning was based on the F-150 with a number of suspension modifications; in a design change, all examples were produced with a FlareSide bed. In place of a model-specific engine, the second-generation was powered by a supercharged version of the 5.4L V8 from the F-150, producing 360 hp (increased to 380 hp in 2001). As before, the higher-output engine was paired with a heavier-duty transmission from the F-350 pickup.
For the 2004 redesign of the Ford F-150, the SVT Lightning was not included, leaving 2004 as the final year for the model line. While of an entirely different design focus from the SVT Lightning, the SVT/Ford Raptor is the succeeding generation of high-performance Ford F-Series pickup trucks.

My mother turns 80 later this year, and she lovingly held her first great-grandchild this week. I know how much this meant to her, and I know how much she haas been through (mentally and physically) over the past few years.
I was able to read so much of her life just through her hands. To me, they represent every bit of hard work she has been through in her life. But there was joy in those hands while she held him.

In a village where time seemed to sigh, stood an old stone house, marked by a century of seasons and silent dialogues with the river. Its walls bore the memory of a thousand winds and a dozen winters, each crack a delicate thread in a tapestry of patience.
The house held the light with unusual delicacy. At dawn, the stones shone as if breathing gently, their rough surfaces catching the first blush of day and transforming it into a warm, patient welcome.
Around midday, rays of sunlight filtered through the small panes, painting golden patterns on the wood and casting shadows across the floor smoothed by generations.
As evening fell, the canal became a silent mirror, reflecting the stoic beauty of the house and the silhouettes of the boats. The air smelled of earth and fern, and a distant church bell tolled to the heartbeats of the residents.
In this small nexus of stone, water, and sky, every moment was pure beauty, and to experience it meant living more fully, more kindly, and more courageously.
⁛ Where walls remember, and every moment breathes courage.

My heart, my words. Please respect them.
Every poem, every story, and every thought I share is a part of my soul. To take them without permission is to take a piece of me
a piece that will always remind you these words are mine and can never be yours.
Even if you alter them, it is still my soul that lingers, whispering to you: You are incapable of creating your own, and that is why you copy what belongs to others.
