I took the following from outside Penn Station in New York in November 2005. I wasn't much interested in photography back then but I had my camera on me and I was suddenly struck by the patterns being made by the air conditioning boxes on the front of the buildings. When I took the picture a woman said to me "I'm glad someone else is seeing this."
Since it was, for me a memorable photo, I've always been slightly annoyed at the fact that when I set up an auto-generated "least interesting" set, this one ended up there (and has stayed there). It may be technically deficient (it was taken on a 3mp p&s) but I like it. This is a slightly tarted-up and sepiaed version.
In his less than infinite wisdom, trump has nominated a former executive of World Wrestling Entertainment as Secretary of Education. Expect Hulk Hogan and his colleagues in a classroom near you if the choice is approved. If the nomination wasn't true, the news would be humorous.
