I was trying to do two things at once and focusing is a big pain at f1.2 because depth of field is terrible. Just got lucky for once. (Or perhaps, it's good that they are geek girls because when you say stuff like, “You need to be equidistant from my lens because my depth of field is terrible” they get it.)
Never judge a book by it's cover, something I learned long ago. I was having a java in a coffee shop when this "little old lady" came in carrying what looked like a bag her knitting would be in. She bought a cup of tea, sat down and pulled a laptop out of her 'knitting bag', she obviously knew the coffee shop was Wi-Fi friendly and proceeded to hammer away at the keys, like she was on a mission, fortunately I had a camera handy. After being taught how to play Magic the Gathering" last night (I finally beat him BTW :) ), tonight I experienced my fist game of Dungeons and Dragons where I played as Axeless Bob - every other character had an axe apart from me. Tom is in geek heaven this weekend with MTG of Friday, D&D on Saturday and Warhammer tomorrow.
